They don't waste time, do they?

Wasn't that the guy who promised not to copy Stark anymore? And especially not before public release :confused2:

Shame those meedio guys still dont even points at the original and tells its a clone or atleast tell it have inspired them.

Great work thou djh! We know you are the real deal and loves what you've come up with so far Big Grin

I'm honestly surprised that people still put so much time into meedio. I used it for a long time and when I found XBMC I never turned back. I'm sure it has gotten better, but the setup of meedio was so time consuming back in the day.

I am working on optimizing Stark for xbox... my initial efforts were successful... by compressing every texture and stripping out some animation effects, I was able to run Aeon Stark on XBOX with very little visible compression artifacts (Running at 720p on a 52 inch HDTV) ... coverflow seems to be a challenge though, I am going to continue to pound away at it tonight

Looks like a cheap copy. You can plagiarise someone's work but if you don't understand the design ethos, you'll just end up with a visibly cheap knock-off.

Cool Does it work with fanart too? I tried to get the xbox friendly theme of MediaStream to run and it was a no-go with backdrops enabled (even after resizing everything to 960x540). The Xbox would just run out of memory and basically crash when I tried to play any movie.

Thought I'd create some awareness, as this kind of thing really pisses me off. I've written an overview of the 'case' with side-by-side screenies. I'd welcome your comment on the site.

Meedios skinner stealing from XBMC. Again.

Thanks.

Kinda reminds me of a knockoff purse, the kind street hawkers try to push on unknowing victims. I'd understand if Stark costs $99 and they were trying to be rebels and copy it and put it out for free but stark is free and so is xbmc (not to mention better). I guess somethings I'll never understand.

Hope it doesn't bother ya, it's a pretty clear it's just a bad imitation.

Staying tuned, thanks for posting that demo video. It was mouth watering Laugh

@Doraemonn: Love the site, been watching it for a while now. Nice article BTW. Oh and can you believe I never knew about tilt shift lenses till I saw a post on your site about um.

Something is either wrong with your install or with your xbox. I'm running Media Stream on an xbox with 960x550 backdrops and it runs very well. I'm not even using the "lite" version. I have 395 movies, 900 albums, and a ton of TV Shows and it is smooth as can be.
