(Still Offtopic) The screenshots are showing a 'Games' section does this not indicate that it will be working on the xbox. Also just because people may be running it on Pc's doesn't mean that they are running it on high spec sytems any more capable than the xbox.

I certainly didnt know about it, so who else didnt..
A more accurate answer can only be obtained by asking all users to respond, or by building into xbmc a "call home" feature to log the platform, and that would only work if they were online too..

that wouldnt count the t3ch builds, the torrents from bird42 and others and self compiled builds either for xbox.. i build my own these days so i get them when i want them.

I popped these in the Games Library thread to try and spur its development, not that it seems necessary. Behind speeding up thumbnail display it's the most exciting thing on the to-do list as far as I'm concerned. Just my opinion, like.

who has a pc thats on par with a xbox .. come on .. its a 600mhz machine last time i checked .. haven't seen a machine like that since i was a freshman in college nearly 10 years ago

You're right that it would use less keystrokes to scroll vertically instead of horizontally, but that would also mean it would have to load 9 new thumbnails with each stroke instead of 3. With 1080p cover art, I imagine this could easily introduce some lag.
(Plus, horizontal scrolling seems much more intuitive, at least to me anyway)
On another note. I totally just ordered a new 1080p tv that I can't really afford. Wohoo!

Without the burden of running windows, linux or any other OS, the xbox does a fair bit better than a straight PC comparison. It runs smoother on my xbox than my 2ghz PC (Yeah, it probably is time to think about upgrading).
The benchmark really is not what platform but is it capable of full HD playback PC, Mac, ATV, Xbox whatever. There are a few posts where people have said that they are going to be upgrading their PC to ensure Aeon works. If it works on xbox it will work on majority of PCs no need to be over engineering these things to the point of loosing half you audience, which I doubt is whats happening here.
