I have an xbmc build that looks at zip files as mame games and launchs the mame launcher presently.. in xbmc
why wouldnt one use something like .fba .snes .gen .mame or something like that... anyway if the author of the Emu branch gets in contact ill make mame compatible with xbmc stuff

I suspect the only thing necessary to get this going on Xbox would be running all the textures past a Photoshop action that reduces them in size by 66 per cent. And if that doesn't work, maybe even 50 per cent at the cost of some quality. Perhaps some of the animations would judder a bit, in which case you could have a separate animation scheme using simpler fades.

I'll look into it after release.

Thank you very much. I'm very excited to run this on an Xbox.

Hey first of all, this skin looks extremely professional. I was looking through the extra pics, and I saw that you could enable fanart to be the background of the media info which is awesome. I'm wondering though if you have this enabled, can you still disable fanart to display as the main backgrounds (and instead just have the backgrounds cycle through folder images randomly)?

Again, awesome work.

djh, I really hope you don't mind, but I wrote a small piece about Stark on my site. Please let me know if there are any inaccuracies or details you'd like me to add.

It looks like some kind of deity of beauty has came fourth from the heavens and touched this skin. Awesome.

If you guys want to prepare your artwork for the new info view (which will require at least 1080p or 720p depending on your set for maximum resolution). Here's a great artwork site, it has itunes style, and my favorite part is every cover is sharp and is rid of all the small text that you find on posters (like opening 3-5-02 or the credits) It doesn't have everything but it sure has a lot.

Give it a go:

great site. Do you guys reckon there's any chance of this being added as a site xbmc can scrape?

OMG just want I've been looking for all these years

- strangedaze39 - 2009-02-16

:p Yeah I know platanito. I've loved that site ever since I was tipped off about it a few months back. I strongly feel xbmc should use a site like that to fetch artwork or at least as an option. It's nice how all of the artwork is at least 1000px and almost always 1500px tall, and perfect has crops/scans. Enjoy Smile

Hy
i'm just looking every screenshot and i'm asking a question. I saw the IMDB note in Big.
I'm sorry but i'm not agrea with imdb. For me the reference is Metacritic.com
For example "Doomsday" in IMDB 6.1/10 and on Metacritic 51/100.
I saw this movie and hum ... 51/100 not more ...
What do you think ?

- djh_ - 2009-02-16

I think all these score aggregators are shit and that people should form their own opinions, especially when it's their own bloody film collection. Still, they're useful for idle-minded acquisitions people who can at least count to ten and tell the difference between gaudy colours. The only one I vaguely trust is Rotten Tomatoes, and that's because they actually focus on the review text rather than the score.

People like the imdb rating, though, so there it is.
