xbmc server to xbox360 help - simbad16 - 2009-02-10
Hi to all
i have a pc running xp and have xbmc
in xbmc i went to settings>network>UPnP>enabled UPnP Server
entered the paths for my
Music
Video
Pictures
on my pc.
I switched on my xbox 360 went to Media blade, selected pictures.
I get XBMC: Media Server
No pictures found (there are photos on my pc in the path i gave)
Am i missing something, thanks for any help

This isn't a How-To, and i'm not sure how the xbox360 would work with XBMC. I would say probably not at all. I don't know anything about UPnP though.

Are Videos and Music empty as well?

I have also tried XBMC they way you did to the 360 with not luck. what does work is if you purchase Play on (UPNP). Play on has a section where you can add shared files including photos, video, music, etc... that does work. Plus you can watch hulu on the 360.

Please enable debugging, restart xbmc, try to access an item or two with the 360 and then post the log to pastebin.
