Your configure stops because --enable-swscale is an unknown option. I had the same problem, and I discarded that option (it seems that it is automatically included now) good luck sp - hitman936 - 2009-03-19 Hi splinux thanks for that but once stuck at this part now vdr@rich-desktop:~/src/vdr$ make g++ -g -O2 -Wall -Woverloaded-virtual -Wno-parentheses -c -DUSE_CMDRECCMDI18N -DUSE_CMDSUBMENU -DUSE_CUTTIME -DUSE_DDEPGENTRY -DUSE_DOLBYINREC -DUSE_PARENTALRATING -DUSE_PLUGINMISSING -DUSE_SETTIME -DUSE_WAREAGLEICON -DREMOTE_KBD -DLIRC_DEVICE=\"/dev/lircd\" -DRCU_DEVICE=\"/dev/ttyS1\" -D_GNU_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE -DVIDEODIR=\"/media/video\" -DCONFDIR=\"/etc/vdr/\" -DPLUGINDIR=\"/usr/lib/vdr/plugins\" -DLOCDIR=\"/usr/share/locale\" -DUSE_PLUGINAPI -I/usr/include/freetype2 -I/home/vdr/src/v4l-dvb/linux/include tools.c tools.c:18:21: error: jpeglib.h: No such file or directory tools.c:1004: error: variable or field ‘JpegCompressInitDestination’ declared void tools.c:1004: error: ‘j_compress_ptr’ was not declared in this scope make: *** [tools.o] Error 1 vdr@rich-desktop:~/src/vdr$ Thanks hitman936 - sosi - 2009-03-19 Hi, sudo apt-get install libjpeg-dev - hitman936 - 2009-03-19 hi Sosi got stuck at htis part now vdr@rich-desktop:~/src/vdr/PLUGINS/src$ sudo mkdir -p /etc/vdr/plugins/streamdev vdr@rich-desktop:~/src/vdr/PLUGINS/src$ sudo cp streamdev/streamdevhosts.conf /etc/vdr/plugins/streamdev cp: cannot stat `streamdev/streamdevhosts.conf': No such file or directory vdr@rich-desktop:~/src/vdr/PLUGINS/src$ sudo cp streamdev/streamdevhosts.conf /etc/vdr/plugins/streamdev cp: cannot stat `streamdev/streamdevhosts.conf': No such file or directory vdr@rich-desktop:~/src/vdr/PLUGINS/src$ Thanks hitman936 - sosi - 2009-03-19 sudo cp streamdev/streamdev/streamdevhosts.conf /etc/vdr/plugins/streamdev - hitman936 - 2009-03-19 hi sosi thanks for that but stuck on this now vdr@rich-desktop:~/src/vdr$ cd ~/src vdr@rich-desktop:~/src$ wget http://wirbel.htpc-forum.de/w_scan/w_scan-20080105.tar.bz2 --2009-03-19 15:28:59-- http://wirbel.htpc-forum.de/w_scan/w_scan-20080105.tar.bz2 Resolving wirbel.htpc-forum.de... 85.13.137.159 Connecting to wirbel.htpc-forum.de|85.13.137.159|:80... connected. On the website wirbel.htpc-forum.de the file w_scan-20080105.tar.bz2 is not longer available, because it is outdated and there is a newer version out. You can find the link to the new version on this page: http://wirbel.htpc-forum.de/w_scan/index2.html wget http://wirbel.htpc-forum.de/w_scan/w_scan-20081106.tar.bz2 Cheers, hepi - hitman936 - 2009-03-19 Hi thanks but still getting problems at this point vdr@rich-desktop:/home/rich$ sudo runvdr /usr/local/bin/runvdr: 31: Syntax error: "(" unexpected vdr@rich-desktop:/home/rich$ thanks hitman936 - nanite1000 - 2009-03-19 Sounds like you copy-pasted the runvdr wrongly. There must be typo in that file. As you can see the instructions are not for the beginners. You need/should do some digging yourself too. - decaturguy - 2009-03-20 splinux Wrote:Hello, Hi! port 3000 is HTTPServerPort and port 2004 is what you need - freezy - 2009-03-20 hitman936 Wrote:Hi thanks but still getting problems at this point Change first line from #!/bin/sh to #!/bin/bash at runvdr. - hitman936 - 2009-03-20 Hi all thanks for all the help but new babie stuck once again getting errors when running runvdr vdr: error while reading '/etc/vdr/channels.conf' vdr: error while reading '/etc/vdr/commands.conf.' vdr: error while reading '/etc/vdr/reccmds.conf Thanks hitman936 - philter - 2009-03-20 wow - hotzenplotz5 - 2009-03-20 @hitman936 plz ask there http://www.vdrportal.de/board/board.php?boardid=79&sid= or try google-translator for that: http://www.vdr-wiki.de/wiki/index.php/Hauptseite sometimes read the readme helps - splinux - 2009-03-20 decaturguy Wrote:Hi! Thanks very much it works now. I had a quick look at it, and it seems to be very nice work I had some freezes while switching channels, is related to some existing bugs, or do I have to check my installation ? Also when starting live TV I get a window telling something like "updating tv data this may take some time". It stays there forever. I need to push ok and TV again. Is that normal ? many thanks sp |
