I'm guessing if the channel doesn't stream within 5 seconds it says "Channel Unavailable". I have some IPTV channels which take upwards of 45 seconds to start, is there a way of hacking the source, or putting a variable or wait time in to make this work.. For me 60 seconds would be useful, with a way to cancel if I got bored waiting. Also, if there is no EPG info for a channel and I click on Info, XBMC seg faults and I arrive back at the GDM login screen. With these two things fixed I would use XBMC over vdr-sxfe on my setup.. - digten - 2009-11-18 @rdoac: If I'm not mistaken, there is a timeout setting in Settings > TV > PVR addon settings. I encountered some issues in the pvr-testing version and created these tickets: http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/7745 crash on watching tv channel on intel graphics http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/7746 FFWD and FRWD not functioning in TV recordings http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/7747 crash on activating a recording http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/7748 crash on unchecking an active recording http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/7749 tearing (?) on live TV and TV recordings I would like to know whether other people can reproduce these issues or not and to report feedback in the trac tickets. Thanks, Ed - steven83 - 2009-11-19 mostly when switching to channel I get the following error in the log file: 19:49:22 T:3079088016 M:1408978944 NOTICE: DVDPlayer: Opening: pvr://channelstv/10.ts 19:49:22 T:3079088016 M:1408978944 WARNING: CDVDMessageQueue(player):ut MSGQ_NOT_INITIALIZED 19:49:22 T:163367792 M:1408978944 DEBUG: thread start, auto delete: 1 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 DEBUG: thread start, auto delete: 0 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 NOTICE: Creating InputStream 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 DEBUG: AddOnLog: PVRDLL/VDRClient: CVTPTransceiver::GetStreamLive - local address 192.168.20.100:37693 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 DEBUG: AddOnLog: PVRDLL/VDRClient: CVTPTransceiver::OpenStreamSocket - listening on 0.0.0.0:13479 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 DEBUG: Open - TV Channel has started on filename pvr://channelstv/10.ts 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 NOTICE: Creating Demuxer 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 DEBUG: Open - probing detected format [mpeg] 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 DEBUG: Open - av_find_stream_info starting 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 DEBUG: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mpeg] Invalid timestamps stream=0, pts=5452869502, dts=8589934591, size=758 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:22 T:72858480 M:1408978944 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1408978944 DEBUG: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mpeg] Invalid timestamps stream=0, pts=5453048534, dts=6442450943, size=758 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1408978944 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1408978944 DEBUG: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mpeg] Invalid timestamps stream=0, pts=5452698190, dts=8589934591, size=758 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1408978944 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1408978944 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1409032192 DEBUG: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mpeg] Invalid timestamps stream=0, pts=5454991445, dts=6442450943, size=758 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1409032192 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1409032192 DEBUG: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mpeg] Invalid timestamps stream=0, pts=5455592147, dts=7516192767, size=758 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1409032192 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1409032192 DEBUG: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mpeg] Invalid timestamps stream=0, pts=5454687832, dts=7516192767, size=758 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1409032192 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1409032192 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1409130496 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1409130496 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:23 T:72858480 M:1409130496 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:24 T:72858480 M:1409130496 DEBUG: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mpeg] Invalid timestamps stream=0, pts=5453048534, dts=6442450943, size=758 19:49:24 T:72858480 M:1409130496 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing 19:49:24 T:72858480 M:1409130496 ERROR: ffmpeg[457BB70]: [mp3] Header missing Sometimes stopping channel and retune helps, sometimes not. I'm using this repo for vdr: http://ppa.launchpad.net/the-vdr-team/vdr-ubuntu-karmic/ubuntu And this for xbmc: http://ppa.launchpad.net/henningpingel/xbmc/ubuntu Has somebody a idea was wrong? Thanks for help - il_ferra - 2009-11-22 Hello i'm new to this forum. First thank to everybody that is working hard for this project. I've a problem compiling lastes svn XBMC on Linux. I've a Ubuntu 8.04 but when i'm compiling it omplains about: Code: make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/XBMC-24000/XBMC/xbmc/xbox' Any idea? I simply configured it as: ./configure --enable-vdpau -- enable-external-ffmpeg (tried even without external ffmpeg) Am i missing something? Thanks in advance - mike557 - 2009-11-25 Really struggling here - reading thread and getting very confused. I have VDR working perfectly on my main server, have streamdev and patched it without problems. VDR is running with 3 FF cards and output is direct from card to TV so no xine etc. I have XBMC running on my new Acer Revo and compiled Nvidia ION drivers so VDPAU is working fine on Ubuntu Jaunty. XBMC installed via PPA as per first post. My main problem is how do I get a VDR option in XBMC, there is no TV option that I can find in any menu? I suspect the problem may be.... Code: sudo checkinstall --fstrans=no --install=yes --pkgname=xbmc --pkgversion "svn<put-revision-in-here>19616-vdr-testing" I do not know what svn<put-revision-in-here>19616-vdr-testing actually means? XBMC is working great (once I turned off screen saver on desktop) and Confluence skin is excellent - well done guys - Swifty - 2009-11-25 You need to switch back to PM3.HD, the Confluence skin doesn't support the PVR-Testing branch yet... - freezy - 2009-11-25 And you need to compile it manually unless you find a precompiled pvr-testing PPA somewhere (like hepi's). - mike557 - 2009-11-25 That is getting somewhere Thanks for the fast replies guys. I have got the addon vdr client now via PM3 Will have a play and let you know how I got on. Used the following sources deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/thefirstm/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/thefirstm/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/nvidia-vdpau/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/nvidia-vdpau/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/xbmc-addons/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/xbmc-addons/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main - hepi - 2009-11-25 Hi, This is to inform you that my future XBMC-PVR-Testing packages in my PPA don't contain the library l i b d v d c s s any more as of today. Please use an external alternative if you decide that you need this library. Thx, hepi - mike557 - 2009-11-26 Well after some playing.... I have used vdr-streamdev-0.5.0-pre-20090706.tgz and XBMC 9.11-alpha2 r24924 (Compiled Nov 24 2009) Streamdev has compiled and is working in VDR. In XBMC, the TV option now displays EPG/Channel info and recordings are playing. However choosing a TV channel after 10 seconds gives channel unavailable Can you give me any more pointers - thanks. Mike - mike557 - 2009-11-27 Is it necessary to patch VDR to get XBMC to work? Looking at the initial description we should use patch -p1 < ../VDR-Extensions-Patch-68/vdr-1.7.4_extensions.diff patch -p1 < ../vdr-1.7.4-ext68-streamdev.patch My vdr (1.6.0) is working well and streamdev using mplayer works etc so assumed patching was not necessary. If patching is necessary is there a single patch for vdr instead of using this combined extensions-patch? - hepi - 2009-11-27 Where did you get your VDR 1.6 from? From which repository? Or did you compile it yourself? From which sources? - mike557 - 2009-11-27 Hello Hepi I compiled vdr 1.6.0 myself - source from ftp.cadsoft.de Thanks Mike |
