Ubuntu Update Killed Audio Over HDMI - fasteddy - 2009-02-14
I made the mistake of updating Ubuntu. Not only did it kill my video and send me into safe mode (I've resolved that), but it killed my audio over hdmi. I reran the alsa update script, but my hdmi still isn't showing up. Anyone else run into this?
[edit: It's sorted out now. Not entirely sure why, but I had to run the alsaupgrade script 4 times before it finally worked...]
