enable the cdg (karaoke) visualisation in the settings first.

i've been using this karaoke function for awhile now, and it's great! i just downloaded the newest version and installed it. i deleted everything before and the tdata and udata 0face008 folders just to be sure i had a clean installation. however, i have two questions:

1. my microphone doesn't work, and i don't see any settings for voice masks. i'm using a music mixer microphone. the lyrics work fine, i've adjusted the visualization in the background, and i can hear the song...just no microphone or microphone/voice mask settings. where are they?

2. at the top of the screen, it now says media center 1.1.0, and i don't see how i can delete this. it may be simple, but i don't see an apparent option to do so. how can you get rid of this?

thanks for your help!

not sure if this has been said but for me all my karaoke songs have different delays. so one song might be in sync while others are out of sync. right now with my 300 or more songs i have on my xbox i'd say around 50% or less are in sync. is there something in the cdg file that sets the delay? if so this might be something to look into.

seems as though some songs supposed to start as soon as the first screen comes up but others doesn't supposed to start until after the startup graphic.

one example is:
nickelback - how u remind me
sunfly karaoke

on my pc cdg player it doesn't start playing the song until after the graphic and goes right into the text.

anyone else having this problem?

i have noticed some sync issues with different songs now, not sure why this is taking place, as this has never happened in the past. also have to set delay now to -.02 or -.03

it may have something to do with the headphones popup orConfused?

ok i figured out the problem with the sync issues.
i had converted all my mp3 cdg to wma cdg for use with xbox music mixer and for some reason using it as a wma its out of sync but when you convert it back to mp3 its in sync. wierd. maybe look into that so we can use the same karaoke for both xbmc and xbox music mixer.

as said earlier, i run a pub and we use the karaoke function on the xbox. this is great, but there is just a small thing missing to get this great app to become a complete karaokesystem. between the songs, i would like have have a scroller running with info (should be editable) with lets say info about where to sign up for sining. is this possible with maybe a pythonscript or easy to make? my guess is that not many people will this, but i migth be wrong Smile
