So do images need to be resized on Windows? If it's just a file size thing I have no problem with each movie folder being 1mb or so bigger.

If i do need to do it, does it have to be done individually on each movie, or is there a way to automate the resizing for all items?

Sorry for all the basic Qs....think I'm finally getting there though Smile

Which images are you referring to? Posters and fanart? I don't think you'll need to resize anything downloaded by MIP.

So for Media flagging we don't have to actually do anything as users? MIP can determine the frame sizes and whether it's interlaced or progressive without us actually doing anything?

Oh, PS> Ur inbox as full as noted by Hitcher

Yes sir. You have to click "load movies", then "autopilot", then "update media info only". MIP will drop the appropriate information into the .nfo file, which XBMC will then add to that movie's DB entry for Serenity and Stark to be able to access.

Sweet, huh? I'm still amazed that we came up with this. Big Grin

I am by far the one to thank, really. I just offered up what I know about the skinning side of things, and Fekker put it all into play.

Couldn't the same concept proposed by digitalhigh be used for awards?
I always wanted to have some info about the awards a particular movie received.

So I could sort my movies by "Best Supporting Actor Oscar Winners", "Cannes Best Movies Winners", etc...

Yeah, posters and fanart I guess...I didn't chose the "install image magick" option, and I was wondering if I'd need to with Windows XBMC use in mind.

fekker, what's new in this build?

And, when do you think Auto Pilot will support high quality posters like TMDB, Impawards isn't good enough for Aeon Stark I think? Smile

mpaa still not working in autopilot, it show up whilst scanning (in grey). but the when you click on a movie the field is blank, also when you manually click on refresh button it does fill the info but not to stark specs ie missing "Rated " text.

btw thanks for all the hard you guy's are doing

Andy.

help with installing via wine on osx - deano72 - 2009-04-01

I wonder if anyone can point me in the direction of correctly installing mip with wine on osx.
I have installed darwine 1.1.17 and tried to install the setup.exe and it fails to install.
Does anyone have any links to adding this with darwine (or other variants of wine)?
Cheers,
Dean

Does MIP have to be setup to rename the files for this to work? I had it rewrite my nfo files and all the info seems to be in the nfo file, but when I reload the info in XBMC, none of it shows up.

You talking about the new flagging?

The problem is nobody's got it implemented yet. I've got it about half-done in Serenity, and I'd imagine that DJH is working hard right now to get it to go in stark.

So basically, you gotta wait for us to get it going. Probably a day or two. Wink
