It could be hung up on one of the songs, it should time out if it fails to parse the media info for it. did any version work to scan the music? - nuzecast - 2009-03-25 Sure .. last version I used (2806) loaded my tunes fine .. no new songs since yesterday. - fekker - 2009-03-25 Hitcher Wrote:Sorry, I meant where in MIP can I view the episode thumbs and NFO's? When you load your tv shows, choose the show name, and then the season, and then the episode, the data will appear in the right screen. Quote:thanks.Information about 50,000 or so movies, so it doesn't have to go scrape for it. Quote:Sure .. last version I used (2806) loaded my tunes fine .. no new songs since yesterday.Weird... let me go look at the diff's and see if i can isolate it. If you revert to 2806, does it complete the scan? -- here's 2806's download link - fekker - 2009-03-25 Build 2811 http://www.mediafire.com/?z2z4xajzny3 - changed the way music files are cached and loaded This will clear out all old cached music info the first time it runs, so it'll take a few minutes.. you can remove the files by hand if you want to.. C:\Program Files\mediainfoplus\temp\musicdata\ In addition, that means it will need to regenerate the cache the first time it runs. This should make it faster to load larger items, and reduces the number of files being generated for cache to just 1 xml file with multple items in it. fixed - fixed tvshow command line lockups, and added option to add new shows if you have the tvshow.nfo or a file tvdbid.txt for the show. updated - The command line tvshow update so it will allow you to add new shows, you do need to put the tvdb showid in a text file, tvdbid.txt, in the tv show folder to use this. - digitalhigh - 2009-03-25 fekker Wrote:Build 2811 I'm sorry. Did you say Command line? ?? - fekker - 2009-03-25 digitalhigh Wrote:I'm sorry. Did you say Command line? ?? yup.. it allows for the tv shows to be updated via a command line without opening the gui. - Hitcher - 2009-03-25 fekker Wrote:When you load your tv shows, choose the show name, and then the season, and then the episode, the data will appear in the right screen. That's the thing, I can't get Seasons to appear. - fekker - 2009-03-25 Hitcher Wrote:That's the thing, I can't get Seasons to appear. I'll bet this is where mip's variant from xbmc is causing a prob. Episodes have to be in a subfolder off the main tv show folder. ie. TVShows\Bones\Season 1 ---> episodes go into Season 1 folder The name of the folder is not important, unless you want to use media images. (media images are the covers, disc images, inlays, inserts, etc) .. and you can put everything into one folder. The recommended name is Season X or Season_X .. where X is the season number in single digit (0-9) format or two digit format (10-99). and in that folder is that seasons shows. I did this so i can add season fanart to those folders later, and so I can handle media images now. - ethan_9219 - 2009-03-26 fekker Wrote:I did this so i can add season fanart to those folders later, and so I can handle media images now. So, in the future there will be support for Season fanart, as opposed to just per TV show currently? - kizer - 2009-03-26 fekker Wrote:Build 2811 Ok, Last night it seemed to work as long as I had a show already established. So now your saying If I do this it will work? Guyver Bioboosted Armor/ tvbid.txt, which would have the content of 79104 Then as I get files it will build? What if I don't have a Season 1 folder as of yet? I'm assuming it will just skip it until I do. - fekker - 2009-03-26 Quote:So, in the future there will be support for Season fanart, as opposed to just per TV show currently?I have mip setup for it, it doesn't output it yet, but that's easy to do. The prob is that there's no option (that i know of) in xbmc for season fanart yet. I remember seeing some notes in xbmc's source about season fanart, but can't find those now. Dilligaf Wrote:Are there plans for artist.nfo and album.nfo files to be made by MIP? how about the ability to search the internet for missing artist and album images? Right now the artist fanart is spotty at best with many incorrect images, can the fanart that is downloaded have the artist name displayed in MIP to make sure it's the right artist? Also the ability to have the artist image also resized and stored as a folder.jpg would be nice. I know I'm asking a lot and if it's not possible then so be it. Many thanks for all your hard work. I would love to figure out artist.nfo and album.nfo in the format that the library exports to.. I tried a few different builds, but nothing seems to even attempt to load an xml formated .nfo for music. The export worked for a single file, but would crash when I tried seperate files with thumbs and fanart. I know there's the option for a url in a .nfo file, but I would really like to have the data there and not the url. if anyone can get one working, or details of how it works, i'll add it in for sure. for example, based off a single file export of the music db, I made the following for artist as a test: (this didn't work) Code: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?> - fekker - 2009-03-26 Build 2812 - fixed music fanart selection error introduced in 2811 - fixed music cache loading errors that would cause it to freak, after first load it should be able to load 2000 files in about ~ 5 seconds. - added bubbles gui color option http://www.mediafire.com/?gzykmyizobm - Dilligaf - 2009-03-26 the music export is kind of off in XBMC but here are some .nfo files exported from XBMC.
