Shadok Wrote:Couldn't you try with a silent install ?

I'll give it try, I have to see which parameters are available, it would be nice if someone could post a reference on installation platform that XBMC team uses and all the parameters that they make available to be passed to the installer.

It is the nullsoft installer system. I can look into the parameters. What do you mean by the "reference on installation platform"?

- Shadok - 2011-03-25

kricker, your last build crashes at start saying that MSVCR100.dll is missing.

- Shadok - 2011-03-25

Regarding Windows 7 x64, it can be fixed by installing this :
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=bd512d9e-43c8-4655-81bf-9350143d5867

EDIT : Or not .... Damn ...

I got the file in my system32 folder but it's not enough.
Adding it in XBMC root folder fixes the error but xbmc still refuses to start :x

- kricker - 2011-03-25

There must have been some changes to the c++ dependencies.

- Shadok - 2011-03-25

Maybe this will help :
22:05:56 T:2668 M:1073741823 NOTICE: Loading media sources from special://masterprofile/sources.xml
22:05:57 T:2668 M:1073741823 ERROR: Win32DllLoader::Load: Unable to load special://xbmcbin/system/cpluff.dll (193)
22:05:57 T:2668 M:1073741823 ERROR: ADDONS: Fatal Error, could not load libcpluff
22:05:57 T:2668 M:1073741823 FATAL: CApplication::Create: Unable to start CAddonMgr

- Shadok - 2011-03-25

But i still have cpluff.dll in my xbmc system folder.

- kricker - 2011-03-25

See if the installer in my folder fixes it.

- Shadok - 2011-03-25

Which file ? I can only see your builds.

- kricker - 2011-03-25

Yeah run the .exe build from my signature.

- Shadok - 2011-03-25

I'm already running XBMCSetup-20110325-3ebaad1-dx.exe Kricker Smile
I think I know where to find your builds :p

- kricker - 2011-03-25

Wink I thought so. So even after running the exe and having it install the c++ stuff it still doesn't work?

- Shadok - 2011-03-25

Yes and no Smile
I don't have the error popup but i have this in my xbmc logs :
22:05:56 T:2668 M:1073741823 NOTICE: Loading media sources from special://masterprofile/sources.xml
22:05:57 T:2668 M:1073741823 ERROR: Win32DllLoader::Load: Unable to load special://xbmcbin/system/cpluff.dll (193)
22:05:57 T:2668 M:1073741823 ERROR: ADDONS: Fatal Error, could not load libcpluff
22:05:57 T:2668 M:1073741823 FATAL: CApplication::Create: Unable to start CAddonMgr

- Shadok - 2011-03-25

I'm reinstalling your last build, maybe it will work although I doubt it.

- Shadok - 2011-03-25

Same problem.

EDIT : Going back to your previous build and it's working. Maybe you should remove the one you made today ?
