Does your updater allow us to choose the installation method ?
(eg. where to put the user data)

the updater will just follow how the XBMC was originally installed, so i recommend you install XBMC manually for the first time. and use XBMCUpdate to update after that.

Sorry kay.one, i've missed that... I was sure that my installed version was the self-update one... I'll remain testing your application. Thanks man.

is the built-in scheduler supposed to work? Mine is grayed out?

- CrashX - 2009-04-17

Using XBMC Version 0.72 and I noticed last night when I was updating my build, it gave me an error after it was finished downloading .. I pressed ok on the error dialog and it extracted the build and installed it ... Smile

No, it doesn't work. I put it there as a place holder. I was planning to put it there but don't know if there is much interest in it. So its on hold for now.

Had the same issue. Upgrade went well but my clipboard screwed with me so missed the output when i closed the error.

Do you have the requirements?

Quote:XBMCUpdate requires .NET Framework Version 2.0 or Higher

- fidoboy - 2009-04-18

there is a logs folder in your XBMCUpdate folder, if you send me the files in there i could see what is causing this.
