Photo viewer crashes constantly - MikeD - 2009-04-08 OSX Version: 10.5.6 Platform: MacBook Pro Install Method: dmg SVN Revision: XBMC 8.10 bf1: ATLANTIS Detailed Instructions to Reproduce the Problem (The more specific the better.) 1. Create a folder called "Photos/Event1/" in ~/Documents 2. Add approximately 500 photos to that folder, JPEG level 10, 1366x768 resolution, sRGB colour space (you wanted precise, right? 3. Install XBMC using the DMG 4. Launch XBMC, opens in a window, all settings are default 5. Select Pictures, change view to thumbnail 6. Navigate to the folder created above Result: XBMC scans and creates the thumbnails, and after about 3 seconds, crashes completely.
