I'm not experiening any lag. It flows much better than the showcase. Seems to be caching them. Have you tried setting thumbsize in advancedsettings.xml? It will make a difference!

I'm quite new at this so please excuse my noobishness. From what I've read advancedsettings.xml has to be user created, is that correct?

Also what size would you recommend?

Pirates of Dark Water (not only is this show hard to find, but so is artwork :p)

Yes, You create a text-file and name it "advancedsettings.xml" place it in your UserData folder.

Inside it you write:

Code:
<advancedsettings>
    <thumbsize>384</thumbsize>
</advancedsettings>

I'm running 1920x1080 on a 50" screen and that size still looks great for thumbs (posters and these new 16:9 icons)

EDIT: Oh and don't forget to remove your Thumbnails directory from the Userdata folder. If you don't it will not create new thumbs with your desired size.

Ashes To Ashes
Extras
Gavin & Stacey
The Inbetweeners
Life On Mars UK

The Life On Mars banner is not the best and I'm suprised if there isn't one already as it is a popular series.

Thanks I'll give it a go now

You even answered my next question with your edit Smile

Thank you sir, I feared tracking down the artwork for that show. Laugh

I figured someone had to do it.
Luckily, I found where some guy had uploaded a 6750x4400 scan of the dvd artwork. O.o
It wasn't the best quality but it did the job. :p
