[MOCKUP] Showcase view, TV Shows, Episode Level - Arcanthur - 2009-04-30
Hey guys, I was messing around with ideas from previous posts and came up with some ideas for what we could have with showcase view for the episode level of TV Shows. If not for showcase specifically then maybe a new TV specific view.
Here are the mockups:

firstly .. thats not really showcase .. cause showcase is defined by a scroll bar at the bottom which "showcases" your media .. i feel the difference between it and multiplex should be showcase uses bigger posters/thumbs while multiplex shows more info .. at least that is my opinion

The problem with that is that it's not much of a browser when you can only see one item at a time. That and, as someone's already remarked, it bears no resemblance to the existing Showcase view. There's also the problem of transitions between one level and another, which is why Multiplex was devised to keep everything consistent from show to episode. It's a nice concept, but maybe better suited to another skin.
