Here you go:
I zipped it to retain ISO-8859-1 encoding which might get destroyed by the browser if pasting here. This also is far from perfect and i find it rather tricky to find a useful german translation for some strings, because sometimes it's so different and complicated in comparison to english. It would be much better if one can edit or override the default strings of xbmc. Anyway - my girlfriend was NOT ENTIRELY confused while navigating through the menus, so i guess it does the job
Shortned two strings that are overlapping and updated one that is incomplete - xbs08 - 2009-05-31 19:53

When you add a string a translation must be made. How do you control this proces? Otherwise: How do i know i have to make another translation?

Whenever I make any changes to the English strings.xml I post the changes in this thread.

Still looking for French, Greek, Chinese and Polish translations as I think that would then mean we have covered all the more popular languages. Anyone up for any of those?

I've started a French translation, will post it as soon as I'm done with it.
BTW, thanks for a great skin !

I made it without accents to avoid "&xe9;" instead of "é" and so on. I will update it since you'll have found a nice font that accepts such things.
Here's the code:
Quote:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" standalone="yes" ?>
