RE: [RELEASE] iPlayer - BBC Video and Music Plugin (UK only!) - flemmo - 2014-02-06 Hi folks, Great add-on :-) Just one issue. When I seek (fast forward or rewind ), jump to time or resume play, the audio comes back but the video is frozen. Any ideas? I installed xbmc (openelec) in a virtual machine and I'm using tunlr.net, but I cannot see any stream (they play fine in the browser and I can download them with get_iplayer). Not a plugin issue but there has been at least one rtmp fix that could be related since frodo RE: [RELEASE] iPlayer - BBC Video and Music Plugin (UK only!) - flemmo - 2014-02-07 (2014-02-06, 23:20)exobuzz Wrote:(2014-02-06, 21:09)flemmo Wrote: Hi folks, Thanks I'll give it a try and report back. I forgot to mention in running 2.5.4 under Openelec 3.2.4 on a Foxconn micro PC. RE: [RELEASE] iPlayer - BBC Video and Music Plugin (UK only!) - flemmo - 2014-02-08 Hi, Just tried the latest openelec Gotham nightly and the problem is still there for me. However, I cannot offer any support for using the plugin outside of the UK. OK, I understand. I was just considering my options, now that with the switch to astra 2e I lost all bbc channels. get_iplayer to the rescue Edit: most probably a problem with the librmtp version in openelec: I installed xbmc in a mageia 4 virtual machine and it is streaming with no (apparent) problem. At this point, the audio resumes but the video doesn't start. The screen remains at the xbmc GUI. Not sure I can help any further. RE: [RELEASE] iPlayer - BBC Video and Music Plugin (UK only!) - flemmo - 2014-02-09 No problem. I'll play around with a few settings. Thanks :-) RE: [RELEASE] iPlayer - BBC Video and Music Plugin (UK only!) - upthehill - 2014-02-10 I have the iplayer plugin and for the most part it is great. I had an issue today that I would like to solve. I am able to skip forward 30 seconds at a time but anymore than that fails; it doesn't go any faster than that. I'm trying to watch the winter olympics, the program is 3?hours long I want to watch what is at the end of the stream so skipping 30 secs at a time is not an option. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, RE: [RELEASE] iPlayer - BBC Video and Music Plugin (UK only!) - eluSive_NZ - 2014-02-16 (2014-02-08, 20:42)bbcaddict Wrote:(2014-02-08, 20:13)exobuzz Wrote:(2014-02-06, 21:49)bbcaddict Wrote: I installed xbmc (openelec) in a virtual machine and I'm using tunlr.net, but I cannot see any stream (they play fine in the browser and I can download them with get_iplayer). Try forcing "Limelight" for the streams, this was the only option that worked for me... RE: [RELEASE] iPlayer - BBC Video and Music Plugin (UK only!) - bbcaddict - 2014-02-16 Yes, I tried forcing limelight in the openelec virtual machine, but it made no difference. No worries though, get_iplayer works fine. RE: [RELEASE] iPlayer - BBC Video and Music Plugin (UK only!) - timmo11 - 2014-02-17 First of all - thanks for this great app My setup: Rasberry Pi OpenELEC 3.2.4 iPlayer addon 2.5.4 Others have noted that some items seem to play and others not, and it seems random. After al lot of mucking around, it seems to have a lot to do with the "resume point" I will use Bargain Hunt on BBC 1 as an example. On a clean install, I can play any episode I like. I can stop it and resume it as many times as I like. Then if I stop say S22E7 half way I can play a different episode - say S28E19 and that works fine. BUT THEN the trouble starts - if I stop this episode, not only can't I start it again, I cant resume S22E7 either. Selecting "Play from start" works, but only up to the resume point, then the stream closes I have a log file but it is very long. Would be happy to email. Thx Tim I |
