@Bagger

from your debug log i find no evidence that librtmp is build into your xbmc.

exobuzz Wrote:There is a known issue on windows with the swf verification. Maybe related to the place its trying to write the .swfinfo file - this is an issue with the librtmp stuff rather than the plugin.

The limelight issue is that limelight doesnt have all the bitrates available, and if thats selected and no stream is available it wont try and use akamai. I would recommend just using akamai anyway, but i guess the plugin could be better in this area/

That'll explain the error I noticed in the debug log -

Code:
ERROR: RTMP_HashSWF: couldn't open \Users\Kevin\Users\Kevin\.swfinfo for writing, errno 0 (No error)

yup. the path is wrong. Might be worth adding your feedback to http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/8971 though.

Looks like it's fixed already -

Hmmmm The guys over at XBMCFreak reckon it should have been compiled into this release.

Does that explain why the streams dont play at all ? I thought that without librtmp the streams would play but only for 90 seconds or so.
How can I confirm for sure that it does not exsist ? I take it, that it should be in a directory some where.

BTW Thanks for looking over the log, very decent of you Smile

exobuzz: Sorry for the delay, I've been major busy..

Heres the log file:

I've noticed someone else is having some issues with the XBMCFreak build too.. wonder is it the same thing?

All the best.

Just to let you guys know I have removed my zip file as the svn is now working :-)

Thanks exobuzz

Thanks exobuzz

svn and biomonkeys iplayer.zip doesn't work with latest windows build at all now. 13/07 trunk.

When i select iplayer I get script error message when it tries to load. It used to work a few weeks ago.. Anyone else had this? or know of a solution?

same here only stopped last day or so ago Sad

- R_N_B - 2010-07-15

Currently using r31827 and all seems fine.

- Hitcher - 2010-07-15

It's running fantastically for me now; even stepping works fine.

does that also mean the directories are loading up fantastically fast for you?, because it's really sluggish for me and 'hd' streams keep dropping

EDIT: updated to latest svn, everything is better... just wanted to check if the settings are still not working for everyone and SD content has distracting blurred bars at the top and mainly the bottom of the screen?

EDIT#1: I should really play around myself before posting... changed the default stream to the biggest in the config through hitchers add-on repository in the add-on settings, no more blurred bars for sd content any more

- Hitcher - 2010-07-16

I've removed the 'Settings' selection from the main menu and updated the icons but if anyone can come up with some better ones please do.

@ exobuzz I hope you don't mind me hosting this in my Add-on repo, if you do then please let me know.

Thanks Hitcher - I like what you have done here mate. I doubt that anyone will get peeved by someone adding a bit here and there. Thankfully this is not a kiddy forum (and sadly that has nothing to do with age) - one of the reasons I finally made an actual post a few weeks ago in fact was the friendly and helpful way people spoke to each other here. And as far as I know the whole point of this project is for folks to work in a loose kind of collaboration anyhow.

Again thanks to all who have worked on this iPlayer addon.
