TVCatchup problems after 10.1 upgrade - mattg42 - 2011-03-11 02:10

Hi,

I'm not sure if anyone else is getting this but after upgrading my pin87 Dharma 10.0 to 10.1, the TVCatchup pluging is now giving an error when starting it.
The error I get is plug failed: plugin.video.tvcatchup
It does pop up the screen to try to load the list of channels but gets to 97% and then bombs out.
Do you need a log file and if so, where is it located?

Yes please to the log, if you have a look round the forums it'll point you towards where to find it.

is this still going? i installed the addon from the OP and it said there was something wrong with the addon structure.#

edit: nevermind went to the tvcatchup site and they have a working one there http://plugins.tvcatchup.com/~xbmc/

Clue's in my signature lol. At least it's working for you now though.

haha i noticed after i came back to edit my post!!

ahh well, great script, watched the comic relief using the script, flawless no buffering no nothing, worked perfectly Big Grin

I seem to be having problems with the script recentley. I keep getting a "script error" and the plugin fails to load anything. can anyone confirm the same issue?

There seems to be a problem with the page my plugin uses to get the What's On data from where it can be very slow to respond causing a Timeout. A quick fix is to turn What's On off from the settings. I'm looking at a more permanent fix atm.

@krish_2k4 - that thread seems to be due to recent builds of xbmc. im still using the stable 10.01 dharma release. Girbils confirmed the issue anyway. so i'll try his workaround and wait for a fix.

PS. dj_gerbil, any chance this saddon will make it into the official repo? the auto update feature would be a great addition.
