don't worry, it's not your setup I don't think. The plugin is currently broken and needs to be repaired.

I'm not going to get a chance probably until sunday to do so unfortunately Sad

I am having a really irritating problem with this plugin. It is also doing it with a few other plugins. Its saying something about "Python Script Failed", and default.py. What is up this file? I checked in the directory and it exists.

I have put the TVC directory in the scripts folder (and plugins/video to make sure) and it appears there from xbmc, it just refuses to start (well, it shows that screen that says dont forget to sign up, which i have done). Is it my setup?

I am running the latest version of XBMC on my Mac Mini on Mac OS X Tiger.

This plugin looks really promising. If I can get it working... Huh

@alex, I'm having similar problems with other plugins too, such as Gametrailers HD (regular Gametrailers works fine).

All you have to do is read the last few post to see that the plugin is broken and fanftaman will be sorting it hopefully sunday

Have put a temporary fix together for the plugin to get it up and running again. Thumbnails and now/next functionalities have been broken by the latest changes but I will solve at some point soon.

[XBOX]-related feedback...

I'm running XBMC, the Babylon build, and TVC plugin v2.1 tempfix. Channel thumbnails don't work and the now/next thing doesn't appear to either, but when the TVC site has enough bandwidth the channels work well and the video quality is pretty damn good. As my freeview box isn't working properly this plugin is a big help, so thanks to everyone who's worked on it!

seems to work currently, thanks.

just wondering, can it be reworked so that you just click the channel then it loads stream immediately, rather than the stream being another submenu. i think there can only be one choice per channel anyway (the live stream?!) so not sure why you have to choose the channel then select the stream in two actions? makes navigation unnecessarily tedious imho!

It was originally because when you clicked the channel it displayed both the show now and the show on next. With a recent update to the site and the "tempfix" it now only displays the current show.

I'm not really sure whether they will be implementing the next functionality back into the API soon and whether this is a temporary change so at the moment I'm just waiting to see. (seems a bit like a waste of time until tvcatchup.com stop making all the changes they have been recently)

Hi everybody,

I am brand new to Xbmc and new to ubuntu, I managed to get Xbmc working on my ubuntu machine and set up with my Movies and Music.

I had no idea things like this were possible and I absolutly MUST HAVE this plugin.

One Problem!

I haven't a clue what to do.

Please could some body explain to me in step by step simple points how I go from normal xbmc to having this plugin installed.

I am running Ubuntu Jaunty.

Please help it would be amazing if I could have this up and running.

I can't seem to get my settings to save just keeps asking me for my usernam and password which I know are correct. This maybe a bug with XBMC as I had the same problem with uTorrent Controller. Does anyone know about this bug?
