Well one thing that everyone who loves this plugin can do is to donate to XBMC and reference bug issue #7966 (need to update rtmp library) in the note to merchant section. I know alot of people are not into spending money ,but donating can possible help bring attention to it and hopefully get it fix sooner.

Me for sure misses this plugin :/

I hope you guys get it working again!

Merry Christmas!

I hope when I get out version 10.5 fix this, issued a new ticket about this error and can not seem to update the library in the RC version because there may be a regression, and hopefully leave the version 10.5, for xbox.

The ticket number is # 8216

It's still not working. Don't count on it working anytime soon.

Stacker, how come whats the cause for the delay?

Huh There is no delay. Justin.tv started using something like DRM to protect their streams. Currently, there is no way around this.

Don't know if this might help - Justin.TV has a set of API's for developers, it's posted at their Wiki here

Thought I saw something down near the Help section about OAuth with Python.

Hope this helps.

The streams still requires authentication through rtmp. Confused

Perhaps it's time to implement a webbrowser into xbmc Laugh

would a spoof work?

- RustyCage - 2010-01-02

Sure, i guess... I've worked around the problem by open a webbrowser (Maxthon) through the Launcher-plugin. Works everytime... Big Grin

Could you elaborate on this, like how to do it and whether or not it works with the xbox? Thanks!

There is a thread about Launcher and how it works:

Good luck!
