I was told it was Impossible and you did it So,from idea to a patch how long did it take? good to know because it has been years sinse that plugin worked and i know that there has been lot of people trying to take on that token problem that you with your great skills did take care of. Thanks again Toine512. - toine512 - 2011-07-20 rogerzees Wrote:Toine512 thats awesome dudeI'll make you laugh : I'm a poor C coder and I knew nothing about RTMP before this week. So, RTMP is a crappy sh** ! I spent 1 day for understanding (more or less) this protocol, then 30 min to copy/paste SendFCSubscribe() and adapt it for UsherToken (and 1 more hour for correcting a bug that wasn't : I didn't move rtmplib.so.0 in /lib, so I was working with an outdated version :o). Today I implemented the support in rtmp* programs. For someone that know how RTMP works it would have taken 1 day ... I needed this feature, I googled but there wasn't many posts on this Jtv problem, no one (programmers) take care about that .. so I tried to do the thing myself. Fortunately it worked ! Now everyone is able to watch Justin.tv SD streams, YAY ! (multi bitrate streams use regular Akamai servers) Good night everyone ! (23:54 for me) EDIT : Oh, I experienced some bad issues when I tried to cross compile for Windows under Ubuntu, can someone compile Windows binaries for me under MSYS / Cygwin environment ? Thanks. - bladeds - 2011-07-21 where can i download this plugin? toine512 Wrote:I'll make you laugh : I'm a poor C coder and I knew nothing about RTMP before this week. After that xbmc must use this updated librtmp and then someone can update the plugin. So we will have to wait some time. - toine512 - 2011-07-22 Quote:Howard Chu, rtmpdump mailing list :It's done ! - docmichael - 2011-07-22 Cool! So will you be releasing the plugin soon?
