divingmule Wrote:Hi, those instructions are for Apple TV 2.

For XBMC Live you'll need to build and install rtmpdump.

First install some dependencies.
Code:
sudo apt-get install build-essential git-core checkinstall libssl-dev

Now for rtmpdump, enter each line one at a time.
Code:
git clone git://git.ffmpeg.org/rtmpdump
cd rtmpdump
make
sudo checkinstall  --pkgname rtmpdump --pkgversion "2.4."
sudo ldconfig

If you still can't get the streams to play, this is kind of a hack Blush
Code:
sudo cp -v rtmpdump/librtmp/librtmp.so.0 /usr/share/xbmc/system/players/dvdplayer/

Divingmule... wish I understood what you said up there Smile
I'm stuck as hell. But I love JTV Sad

I am using WIN7 64bit Prem. and also have an Apple TV2 with XBMC running on it.
Primarily I want to tackle my WIN7 machine then the ATV.

I lost you when you said, "First install some dependencies. " with
'sudo apt-get install build-essential git-core checkinstall libssl-dev'

I'm not sure where to type them in ?!?!

Thank for reply Smile
PEACE

Fps issues - mydadisstronger - 2012-02-25

Just recently i noticed FPS drops on all streams, from 30 down to about 4, ever minute or so for about 5-10 seconds, the a/v drops to -4.00 something when its normally 0.025 Eek

Im running lucid (10.4.3) with Eden beta 3, maybe it isnt related to this addon, but i dont have this problem with any other video playback, or video addons, and the sympton appeared just this evening.

So any help would be apprechiated.

Thats for Linux, XBMC Live. On Windows I don't think you'll need to update librtmp if your using an Eden Beta. For an ATV2, follow the instructions from post 404 and 533.

@mydadisstronger, playback issues aren't related to the add-on.

flip387 Wrote:Hey guys, so I took the latest plugin.video.jtv and make a few fixes to get it working on xbmc dharma. Video works fine for a couple minutes and then pauses, after a second or two it will restart, I believe this is buffering but not sure??

Code:
18:36:48 T:2811214704 M:1145376768 WARNING: CALSADirectSound::CALSADirectSound - device is not able to pause playback, will flush and prefix with 0

Hi, can you upload the dharma version, Thanks

Hi,

I'm trying to get this to work but didn't come very far.
I have Eden Beta 1 on Windows 7.
When I try "install from Zip-file" and select the file i downloaded (tried with both 0.2.1 and 0.2.2) I instantly get "Dependencies not met".

Anyone who have a clue why it does that?

Japz Wrote:I had the same issue. You need to install the common cache plugin from the standard xbmc addons first.

I have the same "Dependencies not met" error.

How the heck can I install the common cache plugin? Confused

Browsed through the XBMC Add-On manager and I don't see it.

I'm using Eden Beta 3 for Windows.

Got it working - just have to restart everything and the plugins all updated.

Hey guys,

I've been using Boxee for a long time, and while it never really made me truly happy, it never hit me or yelled at me.

J/K, kinda, but anyway, now that the Boxee team has walked away from supporting their desktop offspring I want to come back to the fatherland.

On my test machine I had an old camelot build, which I over-wrote with the very latest version of eden (the RC, not beta3). This a OS X machine running 10.6.8. Downloaded the jtv zip from the repo, went to add it, and immediately got the error:

Quote:jtv

dependencies not met

I've been away from xbmc for a long time, things are very different now. Is there anything that spells out dependencies? JTV is my first test to see if I can migrate back - my girl and I watch JTV all the time on Boxee - seems like it's possible on XBMC but...?

Anyone having this problem on xbmc-Eden_beta3-xbmcbuntu?

Playback failed
"One of more items failed to play."
"Check the log file for details."

Heres a pic http://imgur.com/zPtKc

I get the same error for every stream I try to play.

I tried looking for the log file after sshing into xbmc but I can't seem to find it.

Did you replace the lib file as required?
