- jimmymcmahon - 2012-01-30 21:16 re-added the librtmp in post 404 and reinstalled 0.2.3 all working again now thanks
- mynumbistongue - 2012-01-30 23:24 has anyone got a updated librtmp for atv1 i love this addon on my win7 machine and would love it in my room thanx in advance. - WTE1 - 2012-01-31 18:55 I'm an idiot noob to Aplle TV2. However, to my utter amazement I managed to get the add-on working on Saturday, only to see it broken on Monday, so a big thanks to DrivingMule for the original add-on and instructions and the super-quick fix. Thanks also to various others for trying to help. Next, for idiot noobs like me, this is an idiot guide: First: post 404: divingmule Wrote:This will only work with XBMC Eden(nightly, beta versions). I use the program WinSCP to copy the files across. Copying the http://divingmules-repo.googlecode.com/files/plugin.video.jtv.archives-0.2.3.zip bit should be easy enough for anyone - even me. The hard bit I think for idiots like me is that we haven't really "overwritten" a file before. Copy the file at http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=961291 to a familiar location on "the left" of WinSCP (exactly like you did in step one). Next, "on the right side" of WinSCP, navigate to the file located at private/var/stash/applications/xbmc.frappliance/frameworks/ , and which has the same name. Drag and drop the file "from the left" side on top of the file on "the right side", thereby overwriting the file "on the right" with the one from "the left". Then use the chown instruction using Putty. I got something which looked like an error message...However, Jtv worked straight after. *I have no real idea what all the above does and sometimes doing these things makes me wonder if me ritually sacrificing a chicken in front of my PC might work better, so do it at your own risk. However Jtv works for me and my ATV2 hasn't blown up. Yet. - tofen - 2012-01-31 21:00 Is there anyone else having the problem that all channel archives are completely blank after update to Eden beta 2 and JTV addon 0.2.3? Most channels don't have archives. You can check in a web browser with Code: http://api.justin.tv/api/channel/archives/CHANNEL_NAME.jsonYou will get a 403 if the channel doesn't have archives. Let me know the channel name if you find one that should work but doesn't. - divingmule - 2012-02-02 13:55 Mario403 Wrote:I've followed the instructions above but no streams on JTV I'm on eden on ATV2 using winscp. Could you connect with putty and do Code: ls -l private/var/stash/applications/xbmc.frappliance/frameworks/- eyoussef - 2012-02-02 15:04 I tried going to the 'Hockey' section last night, seems like it's split up into HD and SD and both came up with a message saying the section may be private and wouldn't open. I ended up going to the All Sports section and finding the feed I needed, which was great quality, but wondering if you need me to post a log to see why it was doing that. Also, while watching any feed if I accidentally hit rewind or fast forward, it freezes up the ATV - divingmule - 2012-02-02 16:21 eyoussef Wrote:I tried going to the 'Hockey' section last night, seems like it's split up into HD and SD and both came up with a message saying the section may be private and wouldn't open. Some channels are private, you need a password to join. I haven't tried to code support for this, patch is welcome . eyoussef Wrote:Also, while watching any feed if I accidentally hit rewind or fast forward, it freezes up the ATV As far as I know, there isn't anything that I can do from the add-on side of things. - eyoussef - 2012-02-02 17:08 divingmule Wrote:Some channels are private, you need a password to join. Awesome add-on and thanks for all the support you're giving everyone |
