RE: [RELEASE] Justin.tv (Video) Plugin - Mnuu - 2012-09-08

How do I watch a stream quality you have to subscribe to get? I'm subscribed to a few channels that have a 720p offering with a subscription and I'd like to be able to stream them with xbmc at 720p.

It's not possible at the moment, sorry. Code would have to be added to support channel-subscription, login and all that.

Hey

This Plugin look awesome.
I can see someone else succesfully watching steams from www.twitch.tv, with this plugin.
But I cant get it working. It cannot find the channel.
the channel is http://www.twitch.tv/honcast
Streams almost every day at 21.00 CET.

Do you have any advice?

Is it possible to get the watched icon (check mark) working for the archived videos?

It seems to clear it every time.

RE: [RELEASE] Justin.tv (Video) Plugin - Kalanur - 2012-09-19

So now I'm having problems with the librtmp file under Ubuntu 12.04 with official XBMC Eden Stable from the Ubuntu Repos.
I've downloaded the librtmp.so.0 from the wiki page, moved it to the right location and restarted xbmc. After this XBMC won't launch at all. If I move the old librtmp back to it's location it's working again.

Xbmc Crashlog
http://pastebin.com/ngavP0mC

Important line (I guess...)

03:58:34 T:139710789584768 ERROR: Unable to load libcurl-gnutls.so.4, reason: librtmp.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Edit: I managed to fix it by not replacing the file but instead copying it to another folder like mentioned in this post. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=51981&pid=1073703#pid1073703
Thanks Divingmule Smile

Edit#2: It's not completely fixed for me. :/ The stream hangs a lot and it doesn't look like a buffer problem. Is it possible to compile and try another version of librtmp? I've read about 2.5 but it compiled 2.4 for me.

Any updates? Undecided

RE: [RELEASE] Justin.tv (Video) Plugin - divingmule - 2012-10-10

Hi anarckie, I don't think* it's possible.

If anyone has any insight, please advise.

RE: [RELEASE] Justin.tv (Video) Plugin - Kalanur - 2012-10-16

Any idea why live streams always hang once a minute but videos from the archive work perfectly fine? It can't be my bandwidth, since it's working fine on other machines and also worked fine with XBMCbuntu. I guess it has something to do with the protocol.
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 64bit with official Xbmc from the Ubuntu Repos and the librtmp from git.

Debug log with lots of errors while watching livestream.

Any suggestions?

RE: [RELEASE] Justin.tv (Video) Plugin - divingmule - 2012-10-16

Hi Kalanur, The archived videos have been re-encoded into a .flv, IIRC. With the live streams, it's up to the broadcaster what codecs and such are used.

Looking at your log, it seems* your having an issue with the audio codec for that particular stream. Sorry I'm not much help but there isn't anything we can do from the add-on side of things.

RE: [RELEASE] Justin.tv (Video) Plugin - Kalanur - 2012-10-18

Thank you divingmule for your reply and awesome addon.
You were right, it looked more like an audio issue. I fixed it by switching from official ubuntu repo to wsnipex's Tested GIT builds with AudioEngine.
Now I can watch every livestream in full quality without any issues at all.

RE: [RELEASE] Justin.tv (Video) Plugin - dkplayaclub - 2012-10-19

I like this add-on, but I am having a problem with it. I am unable to add stations I find to my favorites. When I try to favorite a channel I don't get an error or anything. XBMC just does nothing. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

RE: [RELEASE] Justin.tv (Video) Plugin - divingmule - 2012-10-19

dkplayaclub, if you would, try adding a favorite, then copy your xbmc.log to http://pastebin.com and post the link here so we can have a look.
