Guess I am still not getting this

Where do I install the Confluence Weather Mod files
If someone can point me to the correct thread or instructions I would greatly appreciate it,

The only place I find it on my ATV is /Applications/XBMC.frappliance/XBMCData/XBMCHome/addons/skin.confluence
But when I install the 4 directories 720p, colors, language, media over what is there already and reboot, the confluence skin gets messed up on the home screen and all I see is Black no menus nothing

Maybe I am doing this wrong

thanks all

richardk Wrote:Since downloading the map icons using the configuration menu doesn't seem to be working, I manually downloaded the zip file from the first posting. However, I wasn't able to find anything specifying where the files should be placed. Can someone tell me what directory the map icon files should be unzipped into?

unzip wherever you like, then check this post:

that's the correct location, just unzip the zipfile there.

it should NOT replace the entire directories, only replace a few files inside.
you may want to check that, as that's the only reason i can think of for your issue.

Got it working on the iPad - hs1333a - 2011-02-19

I just got it working on the iPad. I fixed the blank screen issue. The includes.xml file was missing a couple of strings which caused it not to load. I'm going to try it on the ATV2 next, but it should without any issues.

This needs to be added back into the "includes.xml" file

<include file="IncludesHomeVertical.xml"/>
<include file="IncludesHomeHorizontal.xml"/>
<include file="IncludesHomeMenuItems.xml"/>

Thanks Kevin

thanx for the fix mate :-)

i've updated the zipfile with your changes:
http://transparency-xbmc.googlecode.com/files/Confluence_weather_mod.zip

note: you won't need those if you run xbmc Dharma 10.0,
those includes were added on post dharma builds.

/Applications/XBMC.frappliance/XBMCData/XBMCHome/media/weather.zip

upgrade - hs1333a - 2011-02-19

Just updated to the new version of xbmc for iPad. When you update you need to redo everything. We should see if this can be added to the software. Its much better than the original.

Did you accidentally delete the images when you copied over the files. I didn't do anything special for the images.
