ok just tested what your trying to do, if your using a software scrapper like MIP and info comes from nfo it doesn't seem to update the db when you reload, I deleted the db and started from scratch and it worked using BluRay

Using XBMC scrapper it did update using BluRay without starting from scratch

You can always test it by removing your MyVideos34.db and see if it works as you can always put it back, I tried changing it using the new db and it worked so I guess its just whether the db gets updated or not I suspect the bigger it is the least unlikely it will update ?

Ok where is the MyVideos34.db located?

edit
I found it. Ill try this now. Thanks!

How do I get xbmc to scan the whole folder instead of doing it one by one to add the movies back?

edit

I just figured it out. Here goes

It didn't work. I deleted the MyVideos34.db and rescanned it same thing. Still have h.264 showing instead of bluray.

what is the filename Huh it has to have *bluray* in it if you want bluray flag to appear

I do have bluray in the file name. Is it case sensitive? Like I have bolt.bluray.mkv.

- pletopia - 2009-06-24

it isn't case sensitive .. there is no reason why it shouldn't be pulling the correct flag AFTER you rescaned in the files

do you have the latest version of this skin/mod?

Silly question, but you don't have an .nfo file in the folder do you?

Yes I do. I redid it yesterday.

Did you apply the zip file from mediafire or download the complete version from http://github.com/ccMatrix/aeon/tree/NativeFlagging?

I got it from media fire. I know how to update Aeon through git but don't know how to get this mod from git.

Shouldn't make any difference I'm using MIP and the BluRay flag works fine from the file name, if I add a new movie I just select movie information in file mode and it gets added to library using the information in the nfo but still has the BluRay flag
