- azido - 2009-10-20 zwat Wrote:sure i can help. just tell me what to do and i'll look into it tomorrow. first of all you would need to sign up at assembla if not already done. for all the rest we could talk later (tomorrow). i'm done for today a good choice would also be to establish contact via skype. internal talking and guidance is easier in real time. - azido - 2009-10-20 zwat Wrote:and add how to find what showmix version is running in wiki faq done as #10 of FAQ. - User 49598 - 2009-10-20 Using the Download button to get the skin (as for the wiki) gets me the 1.71 GIT-206 version... I hoped had not to struggle with GIT itself... I guess I'll have to try this. I'd suggest to add a warning/investigate about the "download button" issue. - patkhoo - 2009-10-20 chareos Wrote:Using the Download button to get the skin (as for the wiki) gets me the 1.71 GIT-206 version... Sorry, what download button is that? Github always gets the latest version... If you have difficulties with Git getting Aeon Showmix, try http://www.xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=56423 - User 49598 - 2009-10-20 It's the download button I can reach from your homepage/wiki. The actual link is http://github.com/andyblac/aeon/archives/40b6a45ead65495a20094241e8062c1f3e548ae0 Tried yesterday, twice, and a few hours ago in the morning, once. (I solved my problem using git bash, so from now on is just something to talk for other's good) - azido - 2009-10-20 chareos Wrote:Using the Download button to get the skin (as for the wiki) gets me the 1.71 GIT-206 version... what download button in what wiki do you talk about? - zwat - 2009-10-20 maybe he means download button on github is pointing to old version - soder - 2009-10-20 Is it possible for you to do the "no poster" poster transparent? Like the "no extra thumb"? /Söder - User 49598 - 2009-10-20 azido Wrote:what download button in what wiki do you talk about? I go here http://www.assembla.com/wiki/show/showmix/dy-dCuFDur3OdKeJe5afGb Then I see on the right: "Receiving a copy of showmix from Github" which brings me here http://www.assembla.com/wiki/show/showmix/Receiving_a_copy_of_showmix_from_Github Where I can read "This is the easiest way. Simply point your browser to http://github.com/andyblac/aeon/tree/master and hit the download button" So I go here http://github.com/andyblac/aeon/tree/master Where I can read "andyblac / aeon [fork] [watch] [DOWNLOAD]" Click on DOWNLOAD button, my browser points to http://github.com/andyblac/aeon/archives/40b6a45ead65495a20094241e8062c1f3e548ae0 Where I can download ZIP (always corrupted) or TAR file. The result is ALWAYS (twice yesterday, once this morning) a 1.71 GIT-206 version I hope this is clear enough and helps you to help people not to fall in a swamp - User 49598 - 2009-10-20 soder Wrote:Is it possible for you to do the "no poster" poster transparent? Like the "no extra thumb"? I completely agree with this ! I'd also suggest to extend this suggestion to every view in every section Or maybe, give choice to the user: - 100% transparent "no poster" if poster is missing - Generic context icon ("TV SHOW", "MOVIE", etc) if poster is missing (is this doable ?) I apologize if this have been already suggested and/or discussed - patkhoo - 2009-10-20 chareos Wrote:... Click on DOWNLOAD button, my browser points to ... Well, what do you know, Github points to 40b6a45 - I double checked on Github itself... That's really strange.. I always thought it should be the latest commit.. Maybe that's a setting on Github in Andy's account? Mean time, yes, use git bash and do like azido: git clone --depth 1 or use the script (see my sig).. - zwat - 2009-10-20 here is my mockup of how i would like to see the new multiplex. i have no photoshop skill so it looks crap, but it gives u an idea at least. multiplexmockup.jpg description: top line stretched and genre under the time bar. font aeon_main size 10 seems to fit. flags pushed down around the selected poster. fits 3 flags on each side. this could be on by default if flags is turned on in settings. and info window with thumbs\poster could be off\on\auto\trigger and turned around for trailer. i'd like to have it like this cause i love fanart and flags, but it would work for those who like thumbs too. what do u guys think? - sandman4sure - 2009-10-20 Question: is it possible to view the video plugin 'Apple Movie trailers Lite' in Library view instead of Video View? In Video view it isn't possible to get the info while browsing the trailers. (INFO ON, AUTO and TRIGGER don't seem to work) - Ram2000 - 2009-10-20 otrante Wrote:Hi, Ok been itching to try this But wasn't happy with the results posted here to safe anyone else the trouble.... soder Wrote:Is it possible for you to do the "no poster" poster transparent? Looks alot better with the clear - azido - 2009-10-20 patkhoo Wrote:Well, what do you know, Github points to 40b6a45 - I double checked on Github itself... That's really strange.. Maybe that's a setting on Github in Andy's account? this for sure is a github error. there is no such setting to define which commit should be on focus. |
