This is true 1024x768 with square pixels has a AR of 4:3 with rectangular pixels its 16:9 but the PC doesn't know this so video appears wrong when set to 1024x768 (pixel mapped)
The OSD should look ok because Aeon only has a 720p skin to get video looking correct you need to adjust the AR by going to
Video > Player > Video Calibration, you then highlight the centre square and change "Pixel Rate Adjustment" from 1.000 to 1.333
Or you could just select a 16.9 res but it wont be pixel mapped, assuming you can pixel map on your screen

X, its true the AEON on my screen is ok, but the video dont. Thanks again for this tip. I go to put the pixel rate adjustament to 1.333, because if i set a 16.9 resolution in xbmc the screen lose quality.

Errr...dont work when put this pixel rate adjustamente 1.333, i put this no in video calibrate, but in video menu when video ins playing closer than zoom option. This is my video config.: zoom 1,00 and pixel rate 0,75. its ok?

1.333 is correct for changing aspect, viewing mode should be set to Normal
Are you sure the changes were saved ?

Cant really tell much from your pictures, on a PC screen with a resolution of 1024x768 and a "Pixel Rate Adjustment" of 1.333 the pictures will look stretched vertically but on a plasma with 1024x768 it should look normal
Cant really tell you anymore than that because that's all you need to do, maybe you should start a separate thread because this thread is for andys mod but I'm pretty sure your get the same advice
