If anyone want to try the new version, you can download source code here. But remember, it's likely very buggy (no need to report bugs yet) and available features and content is limited.

Wow, that was fast
Running without problems here so far, just hope that NRK can fix the problems with the flash streams causing high cpu usage even when running in hw accelerated mode.Thanks for this and keep up the good work

The flash is just on their website. The back-end and this plugin's using pure h264 over hls, fully hw accelerated.

Just noticed that, workiing very well
Also noticed that the programs are playing in beautiful 720P but the live master streams are only SD, any way to fix that?

Yeah, I know the live streams are sd. It's the only thing available atm, but remember: the new service is still early in its beta, so im assuming it will come later..

(Will install side-by-side with the old one, so you don't have to worry about loosing content)
And because of the missing content, I don't think I'll add it to the repository until the site is out of beta. Which will probably be at least a few months..

I poke around and here's my findings so far, hope some of it is new to you
1. Is caching when pausing the video now working? I play a 8 minute video and only see a litle bit of gray (indikating how much is caching). Same video length in Youtube give me lots of gray
2. Missing plot from Info
3. In the latest tab, "Samisk barne-tv" have some codes in the beginning of name
4. Bottom of the Thumbnails are black
5. Picture in Info are squeezed
6. Live stream is paused at start
7. Missing subtitles
