Did you have any iPad-exclusive features in mind?
The iPad will already run iPhone/iPod Touch apps, so the only difference is a bigger (unnecessarily large/awkward as a remote control) interface.

I think it would be amazing to be browsing my video library with all the high res fanart and posters and stuff. there could be linking to imdb and everything, possibilities are endless. it doesnt have to play the videos but for browsing for somethign to watch rather than use the harmony remote which i find somewhat finicky at times, or using the ipod touch which i find is just a little too small to be useful.
with the ipod I find I have to stare down at it to use it as a remote which I dont like, but on an ipad, it could really be immersive and you wouldnt have to look at your tv screen until the video started. I find it tough to put my vision of the experience into words but I am definitely excited at the possibilities.

May cost the developers a lot of time/money before they'd make any profit, so doesn't seem like it would happen any time soon. I'd like to be proven wrong though. Innovation is good.
Personally, I'd love to see the "gesture" mode of the XBMC remote work more like the Boxee remote app's gesture mode does. Theirs feels more like a laptop's trackpad and is more "don't have to look at my iPhone" friendly.

I'd definitely use gesture mode!
If we could set it to automatically enter gesture mode for some items and not others (user definable)... e.g. say a user wanted to have gestures for Movies Library but not Music - basically tie the mode to a button on the XBMC Remote menu.

Does anybody have the issue where they click the songs on the XBMC Remote app from your iPhone and that is not the song that gets played by XMBC?
That is what is happening to me and it is quite annoying, any suggestions on how to fix the issue would be a HUGE help.
Is there a certain version of XMBC that XBMC is compatible with?

for the record: it happens with tv shows too. here's what i do > return to the list (exit now playing) ... pick the right item again ... and it starts.
of course having it do that the 1st time 'round would be better

Will we ever get queue single tracks/videos to a playlists and playlist mamagement? It's been over a year since this feature has been requested and it's a crucial missing peice IMO. Wake-on-lan, ipad support meh
Love the app otherwise.

The issue that you have reported is a known issue caused by the scripts that many skins now run by default. Try using this in a browser to fix it:

You can also try finding the "RecentlyAdded.py" file in XBMC\skin\Confluence\scripts (for Windows)
Open the file with Notepad and search for the below code. (I did a search for the word "format" and found the section)

As for your other question, no we have not stopped development. We have a very small dev team and we have been working on no less than 4 new apps. That has tied up all of our resources. There have also been substantial changes made to the webserver. We do not want to make any changes to our code until we see how that is going to play out. We don't want to repeat any effort

The Wake on Lan feature doesn't seem to work - at least for me. I double checked that the MAC is correct. From another iphone app the WOL worked right after, and also with a PC app.

Hope one of you can help get this this to work.
Somehow I just can't find any host.
XBMC (9.11) is already configurated the as it should:
Share Video and Music Libraries Through UPNP (enabled)
Allow Control of XBMC VIA UPNP (enabled)
Allow Control of XBMC VIA HTTP (enabled)
Port - 8080
Username - XBMC
Pass -
Allow Programs on this System to Control XBMC (enabled)
Allow Programs on other Systems to Control XBMC (enabled)
Announce these services to other systems via Zeroconf (enabled)
Also forwarded port 8080 on my router (just in case)
But still I get an error: no host found.
Also enter manually the right internal IP and login name and password,but still no luck.
Also deleted the app and installed again, and still no connection is possible.
I use XMC live 9.11 installed on my SSD
Hope that someone can give me the tip that will solve this problem.
