XBMC on ATV Won't Display 16x9 through Component Video - 1maddog - 2009-07-03
I have tried everything, I am using componnet video on a Pioneer Elite HD TV. I can only get it to display the XBMC in the center of the screen. No matter what format I try it expnads past the screen size. Any ideas??

Didn't work, I have to switch the ATV to 480P and then calibrate o get a full 16x9 screen. If I switch to 1080i about a quarter of the screen on the left has a black bar in front of the XBMC menu. If you calibrate to the left the tect floats behind teh black bar an gets cut off. I the picture below i drew showing what i see, the section on the left is all black on my tv when i go to 1080i mode in XBMC with ATV set to 1080i.

didn't work. If i set the ATV to 480p then i can calibrate the screen to fit. in 1080i on the ATV an d 1080i in XBMC I get the following.
