No, I think you just need a newer version of xbmc if you have no backgrounds.
For the backgrounds to show you need a recent svn version, it isn't working with the latest official release.

at the risk of sounding like a complete noob, is there a newer version then the release then babylon Jun 02 2009? I have tried just about everything i can imagine to get this running as it is basically my dream skin with the horizontal menu. "Hangs head in shame"

If you are using Windows: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=35452

If you are using Linux (it's much better Big Grin) you must add the repositories to the sources...

**UPDATE**
I've added in the MPAA and studio flags to the Movie Info Wrap view.
The Studio Flagging is still at the EARLY STAGES and I've just added a couple studios for testing at this point, so no complaining. No
However, if there are any problems with the MPAA flags, please let me know.

Keep in mind the git update will be a little big due all of the new images packed into the Textures.xpr

I can do Mach 1!!

Seriously though we can make it quicker if desired. I always hated waiting for ages for it to get the end.. So I prefer it faster. Any yays or nays?

yeah you know i was just kidding. maybe just a little speedup would be nice. dunno though, i don't really like that rss-scroller that much, since it does not contain any real useful information (only headlines). basically i would love to see a full rss reader which is able of displaying self-defined feeds in a way the googlereader does. or a scroller which can be stopped and accessed/ticked just like the menu items, and when a headline is selected, the item gets parsed and displayed in a popup. that would be funky.

Aenima99x...umm I have a few too many Rated G movies Smile I think you made a couple too many with the Rated G graphic.

azido...Ill talk to Aenima99x about speeding it up. Also you know you can change the RSS feed right? I have mine showing new bluray releases.
