New panels for redux and mediastream - The-Boxhead - 2009-07-15 There has always been some panels i didnt like in mediastream. So i changed them to fit my likings, thought i could share with this comunity. If any1 on a windowz comp trys it it would be nice if you could post some screen grabs of the new panels Thanks to Paul this is now a them. Just grab the XPR file and copy it alongside the other xpr file in the media folder. Then it should be selectable from the theme selector in the skin. http://www.4shared.com/file/118382178/606e7f8c/reptile.html Source files: (you dont need this for the them to work, only if you want to edit the files) PNG files: (just put them in your /mediastream/media folder, yes you need to unpack files first) http://www.mediafire.com/?rjb2mfm1zp0 Also the PSD source files if any one wants to mess around: http://www.mediafire.com/?txszozn3vkj - mach170 - 2009-07-16 Tried in both Mediastream and Redux with no results. Just see the same smooth panel backgrounds. Extracted all 5 .png's in the media folder next to the .xpr files. Running on Windows. - paul - 2009-07-16 mach170 Wrote:Tried in both Mediastream and Redux with no results. Just see the same smooth panel backgrounds. I think you will need to compress those files to an xpr then choose that file under appearance/ theme it should then use those panels over the ones in the textures.xpr But if your running Redux then just overwrite the existing files with the new ones - paul - 2009-07-16 Just tried this on redux and it works fine, if any body wants the reptile.xpr theme file ya can get it here http://www.4shared.com/file/118382178/606e7f8c/reptile.html Just pop it into your media folder along side textures.xpr The select that file in settings / appearance then pick it under themes. - The-Boxhead - 2009-07-16 thanks alot Paul, i didnt realize that puting png's outside xpr's no longer work in xbmc - Hitcher - 2009-07-16 The-Boxhead Wrote:thanks alot Paul, i didnt realize that puting png's outsideWhen and why did that change? - Jezz_X - 2009-07-16 It never worked if you are replacing current ones XPR gets preference on loading images if a file with the same name is inside and outside the xpr the xpr one will be used always Thats why we made XPR themes so people can change every texture if they want and just selecct the theme xpr in settings - Hitcher - 2009-07-16 Cheers, I must have got confused with adding extra images not in the XPR. - The-Boxhead - 2009-07-16 yeah prolly the same with me - paul - 2009-07-16 The-Boxhead Wrote:thanks alot Paul, i didnt realize that puting png's outsideYour welcome, glad to be of help |
