Yeah lay off the guy, one of if not THE best skinner around doesn't really have time to cater to everyone. Keep it up Duncan your doing great.

If I might ask a skinning noob question: Will it be easily possible (maybe by replacing only one image) to change the overall background? Although I like the look and feel pretty much, I'm not a fan of the pink spot in the lower left corner and would have (once it's finished) done some color transformation to fit my taste. Coolest thing would of course be if the spot/highlight color could be configured.

djh has said it'll be easy to mod. It'll just be a matter of you replacing an image in the case you are asking, and I'm SURE a myriad of mods will come out for this skin just like Aeon.
