[ATV] Web API and thumbnail path offset... - RustyKnight - 2009-07-23 06:42
Okay, stupid question, I have just started playing around with the Web API and I'm a little confused as how to make this little feature work...
The "GetCurrentlyPlaying" command includes a "thumbFileName" option which states that it needs the absolute file location so as to be exposed to the web server.
Now, this makes wonder how you might handle different platforms, but my initial concern is to use it with my ATV and mini-mac...
I also think, that this approach may not be the best option and that I might be able to extract this information directly from the database, but we'll take it one thing at a time...
Any suggestions welcome
