i may also need "æ" or "Æ"

they're supported by the font so shouldn't give you any issues.

guess i'll have to disappoint a lot of people tonight...

i'll be focusing on adding new things to Transparency! from now on, instead of helping each and everyone to make their own personalized mods.
i don't mind giving a few hints here and there but please don't expect me to spoon-feed all of the code.

if you really can't live with the way Transparency! looks, either find a skin that better suits your needs or learn how to do things on your own.
there's an excellent xbmc skinning manual here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Skinning_Manual

to all of you who have been asking for help, this is nothing personal and i wish things could be different....but it's way too time consuming for me to go on like this.

please keep on submitting future request and bug reports, those are always much appreciated.
also feel free to keep asking for modding help, most likely i won't answer to those, but maybe other peolple can help you out instead.

cheers. :-)

Does your time/date stick when using other skins?

Being a newbie I dont know how to verify if my artist and album folder names match the xbmc library or not. Is there a way for me to verify if it does or doesnt??

Follow this: http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Music_Library

When you find one of the offending album that doesn't load the cd art, go to file manager and ensure the folder names match what XBMC gives. You could also use MediaMonkey (or a similar program) to check all the id3 tags of your music, which is what XBMC uses for it library functions.

No problem! Sorry I asked so many questions... I still like this skin the best, and I'll quit bugging you with personal preferences and just wait for cool updates Smile

I appreciate your reply, I will check out MediaMonkey as well Nod

Also, "_" characters dont help for file names!!! I just found by removing underscores in title names for Albums allowed cdart.png to work fine!! Now, I just have to fix one more CD and everything should be working fine.

Thnx again!

Hi

I read all the news and i think to add [RELEASE]OpenSubtitles_OSD-Script were a good idea Big Grin

You speak about also to change RECENT ADD FANART by POSTER and i think it is better too, because we have not always fanart for all our films ...

Add the DATE of the film in all other views like KAROUSEL near the title of the film is a good idea too Big Grin

And i have a request too lol
Is it possible if the HOME SCREEN to view somewhere the number of the release of XBMC we have, and the number of the last available over the web like here ?
It is easyer to see if we have the last build or not like that Big Grin

Thanks

Very wise decision. Imho Transparency stands for a sexy and simple interface which includes almost all latest xbmc features. So i'm glad you stick with the development side of things.

Speaking of development: i really like the way that weather.com integration is coming along!

Don't know if this is the right place to post about this, but i would love to have a symbol indicating if a movie is watched or not in the Slide view. Possible?

- stokedfish - 2009-08-11

Question: How can I mark all movies in my library as watched in one go?

Dont think you can. I wanted something like this when i rebuilt my library. in the end i just had to go over each film and mark it a watched. it took quite a while but just spend 5 min every now and agiain doing some more, eventually youll get them all done

Aww, okay. Thanks and done! Smile

Now off to add 100% movie trailes before spicing up my music library...

I was searching the forums and ran across this post...HERE.

It was dated 2009-03-02 and you said:
Quote:I'm no skinner either, but i got this far:

I was surprised that just six months ago you said that and look at Transparency, not just the skin but all the mods/scripts that go into it...Plus I see you answer complicated skinning questions all the time too.

I have to agree with that, it would be a nice addition. I love the slide view it is by far my favourite however the one thing I really would like to see is the integration of a trailer icon (like in fanart view). I use trailers quite a lot so if that could be implemented I'd be a very happy chappy. I can't believe what a difference you've made to the old PM3.HD already, this skin is the nuts - I'm just getting greedy for more now!
