Sorry if I ask again. Is it just not implemented or did I overlook this feature? I think just play one song an than stop playing is not so useable. Long press on a directory and than give me the option to queue the whole directory should be a solution.

Jarny

PS: The database mode is not an option for me. I have all my music sorted nicely into directories. I prefer the file mode.

Not implemented. Create a ticket or use library mode for queuing whole albums.

technojunkie Wrote:- now playing doesn't rotate to landscape mode
that's because there is no layout defined for it. so we don't rotate.

technojunkie Wrote:- Remote control doesn't function at all
you need to make xbmc accept event clients from foreign ips. there's a xbmc setting, which is also documented in the INSTALL page of the wiki.

technojunkie Wrote:- Music/Movies both reset to the top of the list when switching between landscape/portrait
open a ticket for this please.

cheers!

so, is no-one else having an issue with choosing a song in library mode and it playing something else on the album?

- freezy - 2009-12-15

please submit a ticket with a use case of what you did exactly and what you expect to happen.

Hi,
On Iphone I see an application which use 2 différent remote-mode in portrait mode, one on the normal side, one by flipping the phone down ! It's not a bad idéa, you could have a more detailed remote, or what you want ...

- freezy - 2009-12-15

like that and that?

- Kytrix - 2009-12-15

Not really Smile
I use this 2 modes already, but

but on normal portrait view you can show the remote and if you turn by 180° (90 is landscape) you can switch beetween library and remote .. or get a software keyboard + touchscreen Wink
let's me made an example ...

2nd remote in flipped portrait - Kytrix - 2009-12-15

To a remote for keyboard + touchpad activated on flipped portrait, it can look like that :

What do you think ?

- freezy - 2009-12-15

I don't understand. You want a different remote control layout if the keyboard is visible?

- Kytrix - 2009-12-15

Okay let's me show you Smile

The idea is to get 2 different remote depending on the top-bottom orientation (you can do the same with left-right )

on the original orientation you have:

on flipping the phone we can do something like :

There is no such orientation in Android.

My phone (HTC Magic) always bring up the soft keyboard when long press the menu button. Is this a standard for phones without real keyboard? If so, that maybe can be used instead.

Kytrix: What exactly is it more you want than the soft keyboard?
