did i misunderstand. do you appreciate my efforts. read some of my other threads and see if i should be a little more patient. i think not.
but now since you don't really seem thankful, don't use it. no harm to me. since you obviously didn't care enough to thank me with the effort to supply more info and if you read around we (the script writers) are always asking for logs.
but if you really are thankful, then contribute. how about a nice package of rating video clips. perhaps HD and lower resolution since drive T: is xbox.
above a complete waste of time.

some todo's done.
1. v0lrath- audio flagging working do you have a nice package of dolby/dts videos you can contribute? i'm not sure it's right. i have dca as dts and ac3 as dolby. you must point the path to a the main folder that has a Dolby and DTS folder in it.
so in this example "Extra Videos"
it will choose one random video from the correct folder. if dts/dolby not found it plays a dts.

--DTS
2. slideshow marked as viewed working.
edit: 3. the script now queues the video. not sure theres any advantage to this, but it's there.

Err....I would be part of that "someone". I didn't say "you". Even if I did say "you", how is saying that what I did works until you fixed the root cause of the problem anything offensive?
I wasn't asking you to fix anything. I already fixed it myself, I was merely reporting a bug. I'm sorry if you were offended by it.
Really, though...if you want people to help you out don't be so quick to take offense. Take it from someone who has been developing software for almost 20 years now, you can't take users input personally.
Of course I'm thankful, I was merely pointing out that by reading every post in the most negative light and then responding with a bad attitude makes people less likely to help you out.
If I ever get around to tracking down what the actual bug is, I'll submit a patch. I'm not really interested in all the ratings, trivia, and pre-roll stuff...
On to a more on-topic subject:
If I'm using external player for HD videos (to gain DXVA accel), and the trailers I play are HD, but the film is only SD, after it plays the trailers in the external player the SD film starts to play in the XBMC native player. The problem is that the film is playing in the background and my movie library is in the foreground (like so). I'll see if I can figure out a fix, but I'm not sure if it's because of the skin (Aeon65) or what right now.

Here are more clips, I was going to include them in the original but its pointless to reupload the entire thing for a few clips. This is the last of them. Next thing I will try to work on is the ratings videos.

you have the automatic popup. Then when you press info, the info "turn" and you have more info, and there is a button for the script.
EDIT: Have you BTW updated to the latest version of 2.5? Use the svn.

Thanks for the graphical post. I do not have that theater button on the movie info page. I am using the beta camelot xbmc and just downloaded the most recent showmix 2.5 public beta off the skin website(http://www.showmix-project.com/news.php). I dont see any showmix skin on svn... I am using windows 7. Where in the svn is the updated showmix 2.5 version? thanks

i notice a change in xbmc, which i've implemented, but if you don't have the latest svn this change will break the script.
can anybody who runs this, test the trivia slideshow. does it still work for you. if so what revision xbmc are you using. i don't want to break this for christmas.
also, i fixed some bugs, i'm surprised the trivia actually worked before.
the randomizing of singles and questions is working, but can't test properly for a little while.
i also added what i called the movie theater experience videos (better description welcom). plays videos same as coming attractions right after the trivia show.
and if someone would like to go thru the language file and word things or format the text better, let me know.

Once I get the "MEGA Pack" done, that would be great if you could put it in the OP. I work on getting things together every day.

on a side note: when you get your MEGA PACK ready to go would you like the psd's for my slides? (have an image earlier in this thread) I'd be totally cool with having them thrown in there!

Thanks! I posted in the forums on WTF but you found it faster. Does anyone have this font they can email me so I can get these done? I started playing around with turning them into clips and Im running into some problems.
1. Windows MM only lets me fade in and not in and out.
2. Video Pad Editor only lets me fade out.
Anyone experienced with movie making please help guide me in the right direction.

I have some cartoon shorts on those DVDs I ripped, Betty Boop, Popeye, and Gumby. I didnt include these in the pack because I figured anyone interested in these cartoons will want more then just 1 of each.
