Is this so we can use it from a shortcut remote button?

While Ive been ripping these clips and testing them out I noticed something thats kind of annoying. When the previews start, it keeps stopping to buffer. Could you set it so that it picks the random trailers and starts to buffer them in the background while the ads and stuff are playing? Also like someone previously mentioned, get rid of the dialogue that comes up that says what the script is doing/about to do.

I added in the clip package 2 .blend files. You can edit these files using blender to make a fox style animation and a touchstone picture animation.
I use the fox one before my movie starts, and the touchstone one after the movie ends. I have also corrected the flickering on the fox animation that a lot of people were having. Hope these make a nice addition to your home theaters!

Have I found a bug, or is it a bug in XBMC?

After I have selected a playlist to play, I can no longer go back and browse for another file to be played instead?

Hey, I got your last clip pack, and now I got this. Is the clip Candy Stand.avi missing from the new recoded pack?

I also find the new pack being stranger in ratio, even if they also in some way are 1280x720? What have you done?
In XBMC it says that the resolution of a new clip still is 1280x720, but the AR is 2.16:1

On one of the older clips, it says 1280x720, but 1.78:1

New pack (strange ratio?)

Old pack (correct?)

thanks for pointing that out.

1. I could have missed the candy stand video.
2. I will look into the aspect ratio thing. I noticed it look a bit funny when playing in XBMC but in WMP it worked fine.

Here is the new upload. The Divx codec was setting the output to 16:9 and DVDx was also setting the output to 16:9 which is why it was (2):16:9

Thanks. =)

Just tested WMP, and that was OK as you said. But in MPC-HC, it was not.

More info in first post? - Shuey - 2009-12-20 16:19

I've done some searching in the forums for threads relating to the "home theater experience" script and if I'm not mistaken, this is the main thread, right?

One thing I was wondering is if it would be too much to ask to have some pics/info on what this script does (posted into the first thread) so it's easier for everyone to have a solid idea of what this script not only does, but looks like too?

I haven't even tried this yet, but I can't wait to; this seems like it's gonna be hot!

shuey, thanks for your kind words,

as soon as i finish the newest features and fixes. i'll upload something, maybe even one of those web videos? i don't know. kinda hard to put this in pictures.

soder doesn't happen here, but if it did, it might be an xbmc issue. or else i've already changed something. i don't know.
