mindweaver Wrote:ok too bad. It's better than opensubtitles when it comes to english subs :/

I didnt say I wont look in to it....just saying that it doesnt support as many languages Smile

mindweaver Wrote:And there doesn't seem to be a way in settings to choose default search engine. I would like to have opensubtitles as default.. not sublight (there was an option for this when I first installed your script, but since the latest update it's gone)

are you using V 1.3? If you chose Opensubtitles as a service and deselect Sublight it will search OpenSubtitles. or did I misunderstand?

EDIT: sorry I read your comment again, you want to choose default service to do initial search with. If Sublight is enabled it will automatically use it as Default. I will see what I can do and add it to the next release.

mindweaver Wrote:EDIT: one more request. It would be nice to be able to reach opensubtitles OSD settings through the OSD Smile Because I run Aeon and doesn't have the SCRIPT menu on by default..

You mean by adding another button to the skin? or the script? if its for the skin I cant get the skinners to add one for the script never mind the second one for the settings. Smile as for the script, I don't like the look of the buttons on there, that's why I put all the settings in skin settings page, it should be 2 click process to download the sub and continue watching the movie.

OK I can understand that.

New problems though. With your new release 1.3, everytime I press the [...] button to open the OSD I first get a file browser dialog where I have to choose where to put the subtitle. That din't happen in 1.28.

that will only happen if you are trying to get the subtitle for file that is on SMB, streamed from the web or RAR and you didn't set the custom folder.

try setting the custom folder in settings menu.

If you are not successful please post the whole log.

EDIT: v1.31 is out, fix for a password hashing issue for podnapisi.net.

Hi again,

i'm testing 1.3 release and there is still problems with accented characters in movie titles (also with other chars). How can i change default order for subtitles sources? right now it allways search sublight.si in first place and there is only english subtitles in that page... It could be great to have more sources with other subtitles languages available...

regards,

did you try setting another service in settings menu? you can set more than one service in there.

EDIT: you can now set the default search service in version 1.32

as for the accented characters please send me the log. I have managed to replicate the problem you had before and I fixed that.
Without the log file I can't say why you are having these problems

Just wondering - does everybody get the error with XBMC on XBOX (XBMC_XBOXP_22528) or does it work for someone (1.32 version of OpenSubtitles_OSD and the PMIII skin hack from the google site)?

Do you want the button to manually enter name of the movie? if so, in the settings you can set the "manually enter search string"

Image

It will add the green line of text

If that's not what you meant then please explain further.

Hi

"It will add the green line of text"

Excelent, it is exactly what i mean lol
You read in my mind Wink

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you can, i think you can also add the BEST BEST BEST ASIAN FRENCH FANSUB site Big Grin
The site is : http://www.calorifix.net/forums/accueil/accueil.php
But now, it put all the subtitles on : http://www.asian-subs.net/index.php
It is fantastic to see all what they have for asian films and animes...
And they have also some english, german, ... subtitles too.
I think it have an API for your script Big Grin

After there is also the GREAT http://www.forom.com/ where are sub all the USA séries... but it is Flash-site, and i don't know if it as an API Sad

And this http://www.seriessub.com/ who is an very good mondial fansub séries site Big Grin
But i don't know if it has really more fansub than others ?

Thanks a lot
Bye

XML File for Window is missing error - hellohello - 2009-09-09

I can't seem to get this working. I'm running WinXP SP3, XBMC updated to SVN 22516 in portable mode, Mediastream-Redux_Mod skin (in HORIZONTAL mode).

I've installed v1.32 of the script and applied the appropriate skin hack. I can see the subtitle button and when pressed it errors out. When looking in the log I get the following:

Same problem here, could you update me on what files to put where? My skin directory is "Mediastream Redux Mod". I have a little time to test, if required Smile

if you can copy script-OpenSubtitles_OSD-MediaStream_Redux.xml to /skin/Mediastream Redux Mod/720p and all the files from Opensubtitles_OSD/media to /skin/Mediastream Redux Mod/media

that should take care of it.I am not sure why its happening Sad
