Please try disabling "Search for subtitles in RAR" under XBMC -->settings -->Video --> Subtitles. Regards Zeljko - frater - 2009-09-26 I had rar's disabled... Although the correct subtitle was now generated @ the right place it doesn't play it out-of-the-fly This is my log... I wonder if its not the SVN build you are using. @Bram77 what version of XBMC are you using on your XBOX? Regards Zeljko - illiac4 - 2009-09-26 Hi! TNX for the solution for stopping the movie and than starting it again under XBOX. I have one question. Will it be possible to use hash-searching through SMB share on XBOX or not? Cheers - amet - 2009-09-26 illiac4 Wrote:Hi! Is it working by disabling "search for subtitles in RARs"? If yes what version are you on? All credit for that goes to Bram77 illiac4 Wrote:I have one question. Will it be possible to use hash-searching through SMB share on XBOX or not? No unfortunately not. It is XBMC limitation and not the script.Sorry Regards Zeljko - frater - 2009-09-26 I upgraded to SVN r23167 on xbox and Windows. On both systems I have to manually go to the directory. From then on the Windows system works fine. The xbox system fails when trying to unzip the subtitle... Although some things seem to work better on the latest SVN's other things are worse... Can you take a look at those latest SVN on Windows? - amet - 2009-09-26 frater Wrote:I upgraded to SVN r23167 on xbox and Windows. Hi, I can test on windows but I dont have the smb drive. It works for me on windows as is, I check on Win,ATv and OSX before I release, so I know its working with my setup. however I can not test on smb. EDIT: sorry I misread the version. I have it on r22528 on all my machines. Maybe try downgrading. I will download the win r23167 and will let you know. UPDATE: http://pastebin.com/d34beb6e7 is my log with the latest r23167.Unfortunately I couldnt test on Win, this is the OSX build. As you can see it is working fine.I hope we can get the anwser from Bram on what version he is using as that seems to be the winner on XBOX. Sometimes the downloaded zip fails if there was an error on website. you have set it to a custom folder in script settings page? EDIT 2 : I have just looked at the settings page in Rapier skin and it doesnt show the Headers: This is what it looks like on Transparency! did you choose the custom subtitle folder in XBMC -->settings -->Video --> Subtitles? Mybe that would help. as is, the latest version 1.36 is working for Bram77 and illiac4, I wonder what the difference is between your and theirs. Zeljko - illiac4 - 2009-09-26 I'm using latest version 1.36 manually updated because update from SVN does not work. My XBMC build is from http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc/ Build 23167 XBMC for Xbox. http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc/?mode=BuildsDownloadCounter&FN=XBOX&BN=23167 The subtitles now loads automatically. I have disabled search in .rar - amet - 2009-09-26 illiac4 Wrote:I'm using latest version 1.36 manually updated because update from SVN does not work. I wonder why it doesnt work for you? I just tried and it is working for me. It did crash my ATV yesterday twice but I didnt think much of it. Zeljko - PrimaryMaster - 2009-09-28 iam VERY new at XBMC (linux) I get "script Error" (/home/xbmc/.xbmc/scripts/OpenSubtitles_OSD) - amet - 2009-09-28 PrimaryMaster Wrote:iam VERY new at XBMC (linux) Hi, Welcome to XBMC I need some basic info before I can tell you whats wrong. 1. What version of XBMC are you using? 2. What version of OpenSubtitles_OSD are you using? 3. I need to see the debug log - Read my signature If you are using stable XBMC 9.04 then you need to use OpenSubtitles_OSD V 1.28, if you are on one of the SVN builds then you can use the latest version. Let me know if you need more help Zeljko - demigod - 2009-09-29 thanks for your nice script! Do you have any plans on adding support for rar:ed movies/tv-shows. so we don't have to browse to the directory where you want to save the sub? - amet - 2009-09-29 demigod Wrote:thanks for your nice script! If yo go in to a settings and choose the Default download folder other than movie folder it will not ask you to chose again. Regards Zeljko - demigod - 2009-09-29 I have already checked that one it work flawless on unrar:ed movies then the script auto saves it without any hustle. |
