Amet Wrote:It happens on Windows sometimes....

Copy "script-OpenSubtitles_OSD-Aeon.xml" from C:\Documents and Settings\wb\Application Data\XBMC\scripts\OpenSubtitles_OSD\720p to C:\Documents and Settings\wb\Application Data\XBMC\skins\Hitcher_Aeon\720p

Copy everything from C:\Documents and Settings\wb\Application Data\XBMC\scripts\OpenSubtitles_OSD\media to C:\Documents and Settings\wb\Application Data\XBMC\skins\Hitcher_Aeon\media , do not replace the whole folder just add files

Let me know if it works.

Zeljko

Folders you point me to do not exist. i just downloaded fresh 1.36 off xbmc zone and after extracting there's no OpenSubtitles_OSD\720 folder nor OpenSubtitles_OSD\media.

EDIT -> 720 and Media folder is in OpenSubtitles_OSD\resources\skins\Default\

Also Hitcher's AEON is not under C:\Documents and Settings\wb\Application Data\XBMC\skin but under C:\Program Files\XBMC\skin\Hitcher-Aeon.

I can't get this script to work. Please, can anyone help?

I have a xbox running the latest build of xbmc (downloaded yesterday). Installed the script (latest release V136), also the PMIII changes. When I start an internet stream, I press 'menu' and the menu appears, but then: nothing happens.

If I install V121 for xbox, then 'connected' appears but fails to find any subtitle (since it is looking for a subtitle belonging to '?.flv', so it misses the name of the currently playing file). How can I edit the search name or how can I fix thisHuh

Please helpHuh

according to your log, script should be at C:\Documents and Settings\wb\Application Data\XBMC\scripts\

after installation you should have C:\Documents and Settings\wb\Application Data\XBMC\scripts\OpenSubtitles_OSD\

there wont be media folder untill you run the script for the first time.If it fails, copy files as I mentioned earlier.

EDIT:

My mistake , it should be C:\Documents and Settings\wb\Application Data\XBMC\scripts\OpenSubtitles_OSD\resources\skins\Default\

Post the log if you are not successful

Zeljko.

it will use the name in the title for the search. If you want to use manual search input, you need to enable it on script settings page.

only use v 1.36. If it fails please post the debug log.

Great job ^^ , but one question, how do you access settings on Xbox ? when i enlight the OSD button (on Transparency201), then press select, the script is searching subtitles......thats all, no settings available

Zeljko.

Copied it to Program Files\XBMC\scripts and (skin) and its working.

But it does crash a lot. Usually when i select and download subtitle , then go back and select different subtitle because first one isnt working.

I'll post a log later this week when i'm home but its very easy to reproduce the crash.

you access the script settings from Scripts menu and not from OSD.

Quote from the first page
Quote:Settings menu has changed in new version. To enter the settings go to Scripts:

Apple Tv: Highlight OpenSubtitles_OSD and hold "menu", then select script settings

Keyboard: Highlight OpenSubtitles_OSD and press "c", then select script settings

XBOX: Highlight OpenSubtitles_OSD and select 'select' button on IR, then select script settings

Oh, ok, i find it ^^..but you did a mistake, for Xbox, on IR, you must hit "Title" and not "select" to access the script settings Wink thats why i never find it before Big Grin

Xbox Users:

To enter the settings go to Scripts:

Highlight OpenSubtitles_OSD and select 'Title' button on IR, then select script settings

Sorry Sad

I dont have the XBOX so I couldn't check. I got it from someone else. I will correct it on the first page.

Thank you.

Try different service(OpenSubtitles or Podnapisi), sublight seems to be slow right now.

Please post the whole log on pastebin.com, do not copy and paste in here.

EDIT:
I have just tried manual input for "District 9". To be fair, it was not the streaming but it wont make much of a difference.

awesome addition to xbmc! i used this tool already so many times!

in fact i first started using your subtitles hack 2 weeks ago with plex. now i had to convert to xbmc on mac (surround sound issues in plex) and everything is working perfectly except the subtitle button.

after reading your documentation i found out that i was using a svn that is not yet supported. I'm using svn 23393 and it seems like 22528 is the last one that is working.
now i tried using 22528 and got the plugin to run! (yey) but i have some issues with the aeon showmix theme now (extras.py errors, random crashes)

well long story short: is there a way to get the tool to run in 23393? i don't want to be impatient, i appreciate the effort you put into this project!
if some testing is required, I'd be glad to help!

there are some random issues on windows. you didnt say what platform you are on.
editConfusedorry you did say you are on mac... Sad

please go in the script settings and enable debug log( I am assuming you are using v1.36) and post the xbmc.log and I will have a look.

If you want, update to latest SVN of XBMC and we can try to get it to work.
