Oke, you mean this line: Quote:XBOX: Highlight OpenSubtitles_OSD and select 'Title' button on IR, then select script settings I need to use my remote controle? is it also posible with a xbox controller? - amet - 2009-11-05 govegan Wrote:Oke, you mean this line: not too familiar with XBOX, but it is equivalent of a right click on a mouse. you need to hold it until the submenu pops up , it will say script settings . - illiac4 - 2009-11-05 On XBOX controller just press white button. - amet - 2009-11-05 illiac4 Wrote:On XBOX controller just press white button. Thanks - wild_oscar - 2009-11-06 Amet Wrote:sure, this is what I added in joystickappleremote.xml under <FullscreenVideo> since I am on ATV. it activates script by holding menu on a remote. Way to go, thanks! Now more on a "review" comment/question, I am comparing this script with Boxee's one and have two remarks: 1) Do you know why the search seems slower than in boxee? You seem to be filtering the search to the languages in the settings. Could this cause a slower query than if all results are shown? Have you tried benchmarking the script's query against boxee's query? 2) On a personal taste, I prefer boxee's search box size and location (seems less obtrusive). Is this a simple thing to change in the script (position, size and perhaps font size)? I haven't fiddled around with the source yet, what file(s) is that information located in? - amet - 2009-11-06 wild_oscar Wrote:Now more on a "review" comment/question, I am comparing this script with Boxee's one and have two remarks: I have used Boxee for about 15 minutes and i gave up on it. this script has some roots in he Boxee Subtitle script but the search function for OpenSubtitles has been rewritten according to Brano's(OpenSubtitle.org Administrator) instructions. Language preferences are sent with the search query so there is no filtering results. we only get the wanted languages. wild_oscar Wrote:2) On a personal taste, I prefer boxee's search box size and location (seems less obtrusive). It depends on which skin are you, you can look under OpenSubtitles_OSD/media/skins/Default/720p/, different xml files for different skins. Perhaps this can be due to the subtitle database then. Have you tried testing the query execution time with and without specifying the languages? - amet - 2009-11-06 wild_oscar Wrote:Perhaps this can be due to the subtitle database then. Have you tried testing the query execution time with and without specifying the languages? you have to specify the Language settings, if you dont the script will use defaults, English and Serbian. - govegan - 2009-11-06 hmm stil no go played the serie straight from the xbox, not from smb. changed the subfolder in the opensubtitle-osd settings to "E:\Apps\XBMC\subtitles\" but still it hangs on z:\\ Code: 21:31:30 M: 27115520 NOTICE: -->Python Initialized<-- - amet - 2009-11-06 govegan Wrote:hmm stil no go what happens when you use other services, sublight or podnapisi? does it fail just with this sub or any sub? do you see "that.70s.show.s02e26.dvdrip.xvid-ffndvd.srt" in Z:\\? any zip files there?
