Amet Wrote:I dont think so, it doesnt have Serbian subs on it Smile

I think we covered this site already, it doesnt have the API that we can use to search and download. besides it has total of 95000 subs vs Opensubtitles 950000. not worth the effort IMO

Zeljko

yea, but usually some subtitles (russian for example) are available on tvsubtitles sooner than on opensubtitles

ecsousa Wrote:Hello,

I've having some issues with OpenSutiles_OSD: whenever I try to download a subtitle with language Portuguese (Brazil), and provider OpenSubtiles, it can't download (it shows the message downloading subtitle, and never stops). But with English subtitles, it has no problem.

Does anyone known what is the problem?

Thanks,

ecsousa

well, i tried to find a solution to my problem with this script but haven't found something.
My setup is latest SVN and latest opensubtitles_osd 1.43 i install always through the xbmc repo installer, and i am on windows 7 x64. I use the script fine in AEON and Confluence and don't have any problems with sublight.si and opensubtitles service but i can't seem to be able to use podnapisi for some reason, i have a username and password provided in the scripts setup and i have been using podnapisi with the sublight standalone app.
My problem is that when i try to do a search on podnapisi i get a searching subtitles and then even if i leave it 5 minutes i still get the same, i have to press esc to cancel and go back to the video playback. Anybody else have this problemHuh
By the way my video files are not local they are on a file server running win 7 as well.
But since all the other services seem to work and save the subs fine i don't see a reason for podnapisi to have such a problem.

Podnapisi uses the same hashing feature as OpenSubtitles so that rules hashing error out.

It could be something else, please post debug log but remember to enable debug logging in the Script settings.

Thanks

you said that podnapisi service fails, correct? I dont see you trying to run it at all in this log.

try to replicate the problem you are having and then post the log again.

Cheers,
Zeljko

Ok managed to figure out what the problem is.
I enabled the script log function and i checked it out after the error.
I have as preferred language English and second language Greek
When the script tries to find a subtitle with language "el" on podnapisi it returns
unrecognized language and stops.
Please check this out.

Thanks for the quick fix my friend, i didn't provide log data because it seemed someting trivial to reproduce, will do so next time, don't worry.

Ok, now that podnapisi.net started working for me i realized something else.
There is something wrong with the script when trying to get Tv show subtitles, it never gets results back.
I went over to the podnapisi.net site and tried the same seach and i got nothing as well, then i realized there is a specific tvshow search service on podnapisi and this is the only way to get proper results for TV shows.
So i paste here to diferent search strings on podnapisi.
First one is without using the tv show search and i looked for sanctuari s02e07

http://www.podnapisi.net/ppodnapisi/search?tbsl=1&asdp=0&sK=sanctuary+s02e07&sJ=0&sY=&sAKA=1

The did not produce proper results.

Second one is using the TV show search function on podnapisi for the same episode.

http://www.podnapisi.net/ppodnapisi/search?tbsl=3&asdp=0&sK=sanctuary&sJ=0&sT=1&sY=&sAKA2=1&sR=&sTS=2&sTE=7

I don't know if the script can be changed so that it uses tv show search function or something just wanted to point this out.

Just wanted to show our part in ensuring this awesome script is included in our very own skin when it's released:

Great work guys!

this is how script does it:

Quote:http://www.podnapisi.net/ppodnapisi/search?tbsl=1&sK=sanctuary&sJ=0&sY=&sTS=2&sTE=7&sXML=1

this is how you propose we do it:

Quote:http://www.podnapisi.net/ppodnapisi/search?tbsl=3&asdp=0&sK=sanctuary&sJ=0&sT=1&sY=&sAKA2=1&sR=&sTS=2&sTE=7&sXML=1

results look similar

note that "&sXML=1" needs to be on the end to returm XML for us to parse

I am confused, this seems to work as you put it, but i am using 1.44 and when i search for a tvshow episode in podnapisi i get zero results as i pointed out on my previous post. Could you please confirm that you get the proper results using your installed version?? anyway when i get back home from work i will look into it a bit more.
