i just wanna ask if it possible that when i chose programs from home menu, it directly open apps folder (which i use for programs)

i have no problem with comics menu, i just create folder named comics & chose comics from home menu, then add source.

thanks ronie

in Includes_Home.xml change the two occurrences of:
<onclick>ActivateWindow(Programs)</onclick>
to:
<onclick>ActivateWindow(Programs,apps)</onclick>

would it be possible to post a screenshot?

cheers.

Here's a screenshot:

Here I had a "party mode" playlist, hence only 10 songs are displayed in the playlist even though I have selected "High fanart". When I queue all my "16 Horsepower" tracks to the Party mode playlist, these are queued after the song currently playing. The number of songs in the Party Mode playlists are increased from 10 to include my queued tracks and increasing length seems to confuse the skin. It still only displays the 10 songs in the party mode playlists, but I am able to scroll and select songs which are located "below the screen".

Is there a way to not have the recently added script run a startup and only run after library updates? And if so would i still appear after a reboot?

nope, you'll have to run at once at startup.
the recently added items on the homescreen will remain empty until the script has run.

cheers for the screenshot.
i was under the impression the smartplaylist would always contain exactly 10 items, so that's why short fanart is enabled by default for this view.

it will be fixed in the next release.

Music Genre icons - adsoto - 2009-09-29 08:25

So after tweaking and exploring movies library, music library, image gallery and a bit of clip library (weakest in XBMC) I set my gaze on Genre icons (movies & music)

But I don't know where exactly should you put these icons so T! uses them.

I checked:

Music Genre Icons
and Transparency! FAQ
and another thread for an AEON mod introducing the concept but all I see are discussions about skin-support for these icons and couldn't find where they are supposed to go.

So anyone can explain to me how to get genre icons working (as an end-user)?

Thx!

the music icons are already included in the skin, so you don't have to add them yourself.
if you browse your movie (or music) collection by genre in listview, you should be able to spot them. ;-)

And I was collecting movie/music genre icons in order to put them in XBMC Shocked

no problem...for the record, genre icons are avilable in listview, not fileview as i mentioned earlier.

Hey ronie...
Possible small bug or something is wrong with my installation ?

Look at the scroll bar on the right :

Transparency 2.01
XBMC pre-9.10 r23003
Windows XP Pro

The same problem occurs with...
Transparency 2.01
XBMC pre-9.10 r22516
Windows 7 RTM Ultimate

It was not there in Transparency v2.0

Thanks
