Problems on Xbox - grassmunk - 2009-09-04 So I made sure that I did everything for the Xbox (copying the files from deprecated to the 720p folder. However I still can't get this skin to work playing Movies (TV Shows work). I've disabled all the scripts. http://pastebin.com/m3030a997 Is there something else I need to disable? I figure I should add more detail. Using PM.III everything plays fine. Selecting a movie however causes it to flash the scree, then if I press pause or the 'display' button the screen flickers. If I go to the home menu the background is black with the timer reading 0:00/1:26 (or similar). If I try to play the movie again it crashes. I've done it many times and included the pastebin from one such crash. - flipped cracker - 2009-09-04 have you tried using 720p instead of 1080i? - grassmunk - 2009-09-04 flipped cracker Wrote:have you tried using 720p instead of 1080i? It was set to auto but I set it to 720p same thing. http://pastebin.com/m2c115f4e - flipped cracker - 2009-09-04 what if you start the xbox and directly try to play a movie? - flipped cracker - 2009-09-04 nm - vetteguy0483 - 2009-09-05 I have the same problem. PM.III works fine but Transparency! crashes if i start a movie. Tv shows work great though - mcborzu - 2009-09-05 Out of memory...this line says it: 17:48:39 M: 1245184 SEVERE: DLL: Q:\system\players\mplayer\mplayer.dll : malloc failed, crash imminent (Out of memory requesting 6304720 bytes) I don't run Transparency on my xbox but when I use to try to run Aeon, I went threw all the tricks of disabling anything thats not needed. - grassmunk - 2009-09-05 mcborzu Wrote:Out of memory...this line says it: So what can be done to fix this problem? Or can I no longer use this skin? It appears Mplayer crashes twice. The first time I run the movie and the second time. Weird. - ronie - 2009-09-05 if you haven't already done so, try the xbox friendly version of the skin: http://xbmc-xbox-skins.googlecode.com/files/Transparency%21.rar this version comes with scaled down background images, so should save some memory. next, as mcborzu suggested, disable as much as possible to begin with: - weather.com plugin, in case you've installed it - everything in Settings > Skin Settings > Icons - Settings > Skin Settings > Home window (disable the 3 recently added items) i'm no xbox user myself, so i doubt i can be of any help..... |
