once again i notice although the zip says its 23973 the build info onscreen states its 23944. dunno what to think about that.
anyway, using the latest available zip from kricker's dir still gets me that keyboard issue. this time, i can say it has nothing to do with any previous stuff, as i did a complete new install of xbmc. no old userdata imported, too.

was able to check digital output today. does work as long as it is only stereo material, but no sound for ac3 or dts passthrough and movie freezes after 15 secs.

You have to find a simple way for me to reproduce this keyboard issue, as in Aeon ShowMix (which I downloaded, even though it's some insane size
) it works perfectly.Pressing keys on the keyboard WILL showup in the logs, so if you press them and nothing happens, it may help identify the issue. Obviously Movies should be focused (i.e. highlighted white) when you startup.

If you enable Remote Control returns Keyboard Presses, the keyboard stops functioning correctly.

hi Jonathan, I'm using aeon-hitched that's almost the same, Movies is highlighted white but nothing happens until you move the mouse on it or you click in the window.
