- qualar - 2009-12-06 I love this plugin and it works great in PM skin. But I have started using Rapier and it just instantly crashes XBMC when run. Could you tell what requirements this needs of a skin so that it works. I will then mod Rapier to make it compliant. I did manage to get it to not crash my removing id="1" in the main.xml but although it did not crash completely it never got past the spinning loading dialog and I had to force quit XBMC. LOG Thanks in advance. - rwparris2 - 2009-12-09 I don't have time to look into this, sorry. You can try renaming main.xml to something like The_Big_Picture-main.xml and change references to that file in the .py files. Otherwise create a ticket on http://xbmc-addons.googlecode.com and cc me. I'll look into it after the new year. qualar Wrote:I love this plugin and it works great in PM skin. But I thought I'd make you aware of another photo-blog similar to Big Picture. I'd also like to add http://www.sacbee.com/static/weblogs/photos/ & http://blogs.wsj.com/photojournal/ & http://www.boston.com/sports/blogs/bigshots/ but you're right, I don't have time at the moment - fanaticffwd - 2010-07-29 rwparris2 are you going to add this plugin to the addon system? - pred - 2010-08-31 fanaticffwd Wrote:rwparris2 are you going to add this plugin to the addon system?+1 Please add it to Addon-Manager Its one of my most-used xbmc-plugins - pyrocyd - 2010-09-15 +1 I Like this plugin also please can someone fix it for Dharma? - pyrocyd - 2010-10-04 Bump! - sphere - 2010-10-10 Hi, I asked rwparris2 and he gave me the permission to port his plugin to be Dharma-comptabile (thx!). I finished the port and requested a svn pull in the official addons repo. If they don't find any problems/bugs in my port it will be available in the near future through the addon manager. I also plan to update this plugin to support other websites. When it is in the main repo I will start a new release-thread and there you can make feature suggestions like websites you whish to be integrated. regards, sphere - sphere - 2010-10-10 Hi, This Addon is now available through the addon manager - you can find it here: Get Addons -> xbmc.org addons -> picture addons -> "The Big Picture". regards sphere - pred - 2010-10-11 thanx sphere! IMHO, this plugin is a great way to view this great pictures on a big display. I really missed it the last months. - spiff - 2010-10-11 nice script. i would recommend some visual indicator that you can click to enter the collections. actually took me a min or two to realize it - sphere - 2010-10-11 Hi, at the moment i am thinking about how to integrate other similar nice photojournalism sites... At least 95% of the thanks should go to rwparris2, he wrote this plugin/script - I only ported it, created a new logo and fixed 1 or 2 small issues... But, i think too that this is one of the best look and feel addons @Spiff: Do you have any special idea how? Just add the text "you can also click to enter the album" to the description text? regards - spiff - 2010-10-11 yeah that would work. alternatively a graphical hint could do, like overlaying a folder icon in a corner or something like that. or maybe simply prefixing the description with an 'album:' could be enough of a cue. just some random ideas - Botafuco - 2010-10-11 Awesome! |
