looking for xbox tester - ronie - 2009-11-09

since i don't own an xbox, i can't test it myself, so if any xbox user wants to help out...

there once was an issue with the Texures file included in Transparency!,
it was causing corrupt textures in some places of the skin on the xbox.
i'm wondering if this is still the case or if the devs have fixed the issue.

if you're running a very recent version of xbmc (let's say 24000 or up),
please let me know if this version of Transparency! renders ok.

edit: download link removed.
thanx to lipo for testing!

lol, thanx...that's exactly what i wanted to know.

no worries though, it's the result of compling the Textures.xpr file on linux.
if i create it on windows all will be fine. :-)

thanx for the help lipo !!!

Hey Ronie,
Looking v. good, glad to see you're not resting on your laurels.
The only thing I wanted to mention is that I actually use the 'Hide TV Show Title in Wide Icon View' option. I realise I can just hack the files myself if I have to, but I thought I'd chip in anyway.
So, thanks for the amazing skin, and good luck with the next release!
Sean.

Edit: One little change that I made to put the Video Plugins button on the Home Screen in-line with the other Library options (TV, Movies) is on line 1357 of Includes_Home.xml, change
Code:
<onclick>XBMC.ActivateWindow(25,plugin://video/)</onclick>
to
Code:
<onclick>XBMC.ActivateWindow(MyVideoLibrary,plugin://video/,return)</onclick>
That way, when you press previous on the Plugins menu, it goes back to the Home Screen. Just thought I'd point it out, in case you hadn't seen it.

i'm afraid that's what you'll have to do as i removed the option to hide media titles.
at some point in the future i will add another title-less wide banner view though.

thanx for the fix!
i've never noticed it, so i'll change it right away.

cheers!
